Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux released a special, limited-edition model of its Sea Hawk Pro 1000m divers’ watch at a special event at New York’s Museum of Modern Art on June 5. Hosted by environmental conservationists Susan and David Rockefeller, Jr., the evening’s highlight was the New York premiere screening of Mission of Mermaids, Susan Rockefeller’s new documentary about protecting the oceans. I need some help from the watch gurus
Hey everyone,I'm not in the know as far as watches go, so I figured I'd come and look for help from those in the know.I'm looking for a gift for my wife, and she has a fairly difficult list of requirements for a women's watch.Chronograph styleRound faceMetal band, no goldSapphire crystalNo diamonds, real or otherwiseDark face, grey preferred, but blue or black could workI'm looking to spend a few hundred, but I'd go higher for a quality watch.I previously bought her a Skagen watch that apparently has design issues with the crystal, it broke out when she wasn't even wearing it due to temperature change. So, no Skagens. I have found tons of men's watches that fit the bill, but a smaller, women's watch that fits that mold is tough to find.I did find this watchIt comes close and the atomic clock sync is geek cool, but I was wondering if you guys knew of something similar, maybe with the grey face to hit the nail right on the head.Thanks a bunch in advance.Nate

Hacking?
I’ve seen a few threads that have mentioned “hacking” what does this mean? I’ve only found that it refers to when the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out. Is there some use for this feature? I searched around some, feel free to point me to an article or thread! Thanks
