Found my 40+ year old f300's!
These watches haven't been worn or running in many years. I've done research on this site, and others about them, and if all possible would like to get them running again within reason, cost wise.001.jpg.jpg, 002.jpg.jpg, 003.jpg.jpg, 004.jpg.jpg, 005.jpg.jpgFrom what I have read the movement in the first watch is a ESA9164-1260, and the second is a ESA9162-1250. The case on both watches appears to be the same except for color, which is in the case # range of 198.0021-31 and the style is called Geneva-Dynamic.The first step is to get the backs of the cases off, and see if the batteries did any damage, and if not try replacing the batteries.They have been replaced many years ago, and never removed. From the outside they are in good shape except for normal wear.My question is, can someone recommend an inexpensive proper tool that would remove the backs, without causing further damage?The stainless was mine, that I bought new in 1973, along with the optional stainless bracelet, and the go

Maurice or Baume?
I was looking at the Classisima Baume and Mercier watch and I really like the fine/classic/formal look to it and for the "about the same" price I saw a Maurice Lacroix watch that is almost as good looking, however, this one was "see trhough" skeleton style......which one would you go with? Price being about the same, which brand, service, etc...?Many thanks (first post in here in WT)
