This knife doesn't tell the time but it sure looks like it should. American artist and knife maker Van Barnett calls this steampunk style creation the Time Machine. It is a collectible hand-made knife with a lot of old-timey futuristic personality. Barnett incorporates watch parts into the beautifully cool folding knife creation - which are more or less sold out for years and made individually by him (often with meaningful personalizations for each buyer, according to his website). He makes only a four of these per year and is so sold out far enough that he isn't taking new orders.Barnett takes his time crafting each piece. Seiko King Seiko-Need Help!
Hi there folks! I have a 60's Seiko King Seiko that needs a little help. It has a bezel that 'presses' onto the crystal. It keeps the crystal in place. Well, it popped off while the watch was in my shirt pocket. I have had it at my local watch maker's, and he has tried to 'press' it on, but it won't stay on. He suspects that the gasket beneath the edges of the crystal is so old, it lacks the lubricity to expand to keep the bezel in place. It isn't supposed to be glued on. Does anyone know someone stateside that can fix this? I don't want to try shipping it to Seiko Japan if I can help it. Thanx, Chuck
