My Very First Breitling: A rolex and omega owner
Dear Fellow Breitlingers, I have made the JUMP! After thinking about it for at lest four years, I finally purchased my first Brietling, a stainless steel SuperOcean X plus. To tell you the truth it was a liberating decision. I come from a country where everyone wears a Rolex as a form of "social acceptance" device. We are a poor third world country but when you hit the clubs in our major cities it is raining Rolex!!! I also own 2 Rolexes but they got very BORING after ten years. And with so many FAKES around...Rolex has become very common. So, I said to myself...what will be the replacement watch? Omega? ZZZZZ...Finally, weighing Quality, Design, Precision, Excitement...the winner is Breitling. Hail Breitling...the new prestige watch on the block...a lot of my friends and relatives (all former Rolex wearers) are now shifting to the big B.Am very happy and satisfied w/ my steelfish xo. I am completely new to watches and have for the longest while thought them to be unnecessary. I recently however came across the spitfire double chrono and found myself drawn to it. Submariner Bezel Replacement - Dallas
Hey all! Calling in all Dallas TRFer's to advise me on a replacement bezel insert for my 16610. Accidentally knocked it earlier today and it must've popped off as I noticed my little guy was looking very naked once I got home. I'll be heading out of town on Tuesday and was hoping to just swing by a local AD or RSC Dallas? to see if anyone would be willing to replace the bezel insert only within the day. I've seen several threads a few years back where members got bezel insert replacements for about $75 at RSC Dallas in about 45 minutes but just wanted to see if anyone had a more recent experience with this or if there's another AD that they would recommend.Thank you!
