Okay guys, I am not sure how many of you frequent ebay for watches or photography items, please AVOID at all costs of Steve E. Rawley. (He used to come onto the old WTF using his nick 'Srhookem' )His ebay nickname was tr_texas now has changed to playoneontv. He usually sells photography equipments and watches for US$1000-1500, and not deliver them. He will claim that his paypal account cannot be used etc etc. I have not managed to recover my money but some victims did. We have decided to have a blog to write all our findings and updates on this guy.If anyone of you happen to walk past or even stay around that area, just beware. He appeared to be a very nice family man, but what he is doing is totally wrong. You do not cheat others' hard-earned money to meet the needs of your family and failed business. HELP with determining value of watch?
Hello all, I recently purchased a watch that is broken and am hoping to repair. It's a wind up watch. When I went in to get it repaired, the jeweler said that it will cost at least $200 to inspect the watch and who knows how much more it'll be to fix it. He then said that if the watch is repaired that it would be worth $2000? Sounds kinda strange since I bought the watch for $20 at an antique shop. I just thought it looked beautiful. Anyway, will anyone help me determine the value of the watch and also how I might repair the watch in the most cost effective way? Best,Someone who does not know anything about watches.

Long Awaited Incoming
Well after waiting almost a year and not being able to find one of these here in Maryland anywhere, I finally caved and decided I didn¡¯t (couldn¡¯t) want to wait any longer. So here she is. Thanks to a flawless transaction with Takuya, my slightly used ( and by slightly I mean 11 days. I thought only person that bought a watch and then changed my mind a week later) my new SD43. This thing is definitely all that I hoped for and wanted. I loved the JC DSSD but it was just too thick. I love subs but wanted something that felt just a little tougher. The band on this is so well proportioned and the tapered lugs make it look even better. I have a tiny 6.5 inch wrist, but with the diver¡¯s extension removed it fits me as well as any other sub. Finally I am a member of the club. Now watch my AD call me tomorrow and say he has mine lol. Thanks for reading.
