Invicta 17234 wrist watches news:
A recent question about the GMT-Master-II¡¯s ability to indicate North using its 24-hour hand finally got me thinking seriously about how this works. Here¡¯s what I came up with. There are two key concepts to keep in mind: (1) the GMT-Master¡¯s hour hand revolves around the 24-hour hand once a day; and (2) in a standard time zone, ¡°north,¡± in the northern hemisphere, is for all practical purposes identical with the direction toward the sun at local midnight, when it is hidden on the opposite side of the earth. Focus only on the GMT-Master¡¯s hour and 24-hr hands. The hour and 24-hr hands are aligned at the same time only once a day: at midnight. If both hands point toward the sun at midnight, and if I keep the 24-hr hand in that position, then the hour hand will track the sun for 24 hours and return to the 24-hr hand position at midnight. The 24-hr hand ¡°remembers¡± where the sun was at midnight relative to the hour hand. (It does not matter that I have to rotate the watch case counter
Hi all, I'm somewhat new to watchesI really want to learn as much about the market as I can,Do any of you have recommendations for resources to look at previous years' RRPs for various watches?Watchquote is okay for now, it has the basic stuff, but I'm looking for somewhere to reference the price appreciation trendsThanks all
Hey guys, I have been admiring your Panerai pieces for a while, especially the 312. The strap combos are just incredible. I purchased the Rolex Submariner Date (V series) less than a year ago, and I am considering a trade + cash for the 312. Owning both is not an option at this point. In your opinions, would it be a bad move? As we all know the Sub goes well with just about everything, how about the 312?Thanks, I appreciate your thoughts ...
Good day all,So, some of you may have seen my post last week about considering replacing my SD43 with a BLNR as the SD43 is fairly heavy for a daily wearer. So, after that post last week I went to my local AD to put my name down for a BLNR, knowing that there was a list I was thinking I wouldn't have my hands on it for a good few months at least.Well...this morning I get a call, the AD has a BLNR for me! Was not expecting this at all, also in the short period between putting my name on the list for the BLNR and getting the call, I had decided that I could never part ways with the SD43!I also felt as though I could not pass on getting a BLNR for $8,550 out the door, particularly with the rumours about it being discontinued so now I have both the SD43 and BLNR to enjoy. I think I will keep the BLNR on ice for a little while though as mentally I was not ready for this purchase so soon (also the mrs will kill me if she finds out I have bought another Rolex so soon after buying my first one
just trade in my date just 116333 for 326934. AD gave me $6300 for my date.you guys think it is a good trade??
