- I purchased the watch with the black band and orange face. It is substantial. It looks awesome on my husband's arm and ShoeBuy was one of the only stores that had any in stock AND it was less expensive than anywhere else.THANK YOU!

Hi everyone,I was wondering what do you think about the 25860. Is there a big difference between that model and the 26300 that came out after? I couldn't find much information online. The bezel looks a little thin but then again, I am a rookie when it comes to AP. I also was surprised with the stem when I handled the watch after pulling the crown. I am used to handling Rolex and unlike them, there was a little play and it felt a lot more fragile between my fingers. Is that normal on a ROC? I have been told that the second hand on the sub-dial never stops. Is that true? If so how can one set the exact time?I am asking because I found a mint 25860 for a good bargain and would like to know whether I should pull the trigger. Is it a nice first AP?Best,14732361_538157599725841_2662383623662301923_n.jpg14955817_538157696392498_4541137235643941148_n.jpg14962713_538157606392507_2058450351124336484_n.jpg14963399_538157739725827_7579575350578867579_n.jpg14992069_538157639725837_5557798183043575
Hi all,I have located a black ceramic diver, and am ready to take the step and getting it.The seller is asking 19K in euros, 20.8K USD, and claims that the retail for it was 23.5K in euros, 25.7K USD, is that the real retail for the ceramic diver? If it is I suppose 2K less on a piece like this which was never available with real discount, is not a bad deal, what do you guys think?I am still hesitating a little, so if some owners, yeah you also Ben can post pics and tell me how they love their's it should make me get it 100%.Anyways I emailed the seller, and am waiting for his response, but will probably call him this morning to get to know if it's still available, hope it is.So if it's available and if I get it I would have 1 sporty dressy Patek, and 1 sport AP, seems to me like a nice little duo, what do you think? Here's pic of the AP and the PP, not mine I take crappy pics, but of course if I get the diver you'll get real crappy pics with my diver and I'll throw in a few 5712 pics a
I've just got back from 3 weeks away to find a package waiting for me. Since my last internet purchase burned me, I thought I'd post a few pics and see if any of you guys see anything suspect... This watch came from a reliable source unlike my last one, and the AD that resized it for me yesterday didn't say anything, but after my last experience I'm not so sure if I trust some AD's and their ability to spot a fake. Any help is much appreciated! Here it is;Cheers guys. Ben.
I'm looking to buy a 5035 model Annual Calendar (White or Cream dial in Yellow Gold).Ideally (like everyone) I'd like to get a mint condition watch w/ box, papers & service history for the minimum possible price (going rate retail seems to be just over $20k USD - so you know, less than that :) ).Apart from having a running search on chrono24 and waiting for a trusted seller to put one up looking for a quick sale, what are the best forums / sites to keep an eye on for a 'good buy'?I'm sure someone would suggest auction, so I'd be interested in knowing how people who do buy watches at auction manage the risk - how do you know you're not getting a lemon?(Being that I'm in Australia (where there are about 5 PP dealers nationwide), popping down to the local Prestige watch auction-house isn't exactly an option)Finally, does anyone have a feel for what these are worth when you find someone who wants a quick sale? (eg. what price would you expect to get from your local watch trader?)Thanks
