- It is a pretty watch for the price. Shipping and handling was very fast. One blem - the Leather Strap looks cheap. It is also very thick and inflexible.

Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 13229 wrist watches news:
I just watched an auction finish for a watch branded Rolex Oyster. The seller has avoided using the name Rolex anywhere in his sale but uses submariner. With a starting price of $175 it receives not one bid at all. So as a beginner the only reason I would have to avoid this is because no one else has bid on it, or just trust my gut feeling that something feels badly wrong. So my question is, if it is real Rolex why has no one bid on it, or if it is a fake why would it have a starting price of $175. Or did I just miss the sale of the century :). I have only ever seen a genuine Rolex through a shop window and have seen one fake, oddly it was a watch repair guy wearing it and he reckoned it was the best buy he ever made, apart from the ugly discoloured crown and nasty magnifier on the date the rest of it seemed ok. I really could not see myself owning either, Skinny wrists would not suit a Rolex. Very nice Men's Submariner - eBay (item 170556013526 end time Oct-23-10 14:09:47 PDT)
Apparently, Jean Rousseau was a watchmaker from 1606 to 1684. But I am very familier with this brand and am helping a friend out. Thanks.-JB
Against all the advice, I purchased the Fossil Automatic Skeleton...Until now, it's working great, and looks very nice to be a Fossil with chinese movement, but, well, a nice way to see the inner working of an auto, without spending $2K in a watch...For 80 bucks, it's a very good bang for the buck I think..
Hi Guys,I recently purchased my first AP. Its a titanium ROO. Watch was purchased new from AP retailer in 2010. I purchased it from original owner ( my business partner). Watch was working great then began to notice that it had about 5-6 hours of power reserve. Now, no matter how many times I wind the watch it will not run. There is an independent watch service center (Universal watch repair in birmingham MI) which is very well known. They service high end, high complication watches from all around the US. They say they are very comfortable working on AP watches. Clearwater says I will be without my watch for 3-4 months. I know they do great work but really dont want to be without my watch for that long. Universal says they can do the service and check out watch in 2 weeks and for half the price. What do you guys thinks? Thanks for the help
Thanks to the TRF, I've found some good techniques to restore/repaint my Exp II besel. The overall condition of the besel is good but it looks like it was refinished at certain point during previous ownership and some of the numbers are not so deeply etched, at least to what I see. Before purchasing a new besel I will try to restore the current one. Does any of you had similar issue? Any success restoring the besel paint? A pics of before and after are welcome. Thanks!Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
