Ebel Ebel 33819 wrist watches news:
Earlier this year A. Lange & Sohne announced a limited edition collection of (even more) decorated watches as homages of the 165th anniversary of their founder, Ferdinand Adolph (F.A.) Lange. In 1845 Mr. Lange moved from Dresden to the nearby small mountain town of Glashutte. As Lange likes to see it, history was then born! The 165 Years - Homage to F.A. Lange Collection includes three watches. They are not new watches per se, but done with unique treatment. Each on a new gold color called "honey gold." More on that in a sec. The watches each have guilloche engraved dials, which is rare for the brand these days.? First is the Tourbograph "Pour le Merite," then the Lange 1 Tourbillon, and finally the quite new 1815 Moonphase watch.Honey gold is a new 'invention' by Lange. It is a novel gold alloy that has a honey color to it. The warm look of the gold is unparalleled. It has a light brass look to it. Plus, it resembles the patina that the German silver (not actually silver) gets on i
I am starting to fear that maybe I didn't do enough homework before my most recent purchase...My new vintage Hamilton Gilbert-1. As Rusty stated, it's in almost mint condition.2. It's keeping time like a new watch.3. I love it!ButQuestion-It has been redialed as admitted by the seller (who has 3000 sales and 99.9% feedback). But I fear the redial work is not as accurate as it should be, unless there were a few versions of this watch in circulation.Look at this example of a Gilbert, which is representative of many I have seen on the web. Note the font of the name Hamilton, and how it is straight across the dial, not in an arc. Also look at the seconds sub-dial:Now look at mine-The name Hamilton is in an arc and of different font. The markings on the sub-dial is different as well, and has some imperfections at the bottom. The watch is authentic in every other way:Perhaps I should have done more research

My collection, once I flip the ones I have now and get the 3 which will be for me the best trio possible, will look like this.1 week to wait for the Patek, 2 months for the Rolex, and within 4-6 months for the AP, I think that concerning my priorities; no straps just bracelets, SS no gold or platinum see through case back, ok not for the Hulk even though I can have one installed but won't because of water proof problems (living near beaches in Thailand makes it obvious that there will be a lot of swimming)images-7.jpegimages-8.jpegimages-9.jpegimages-10.jpegap15202jumbosihh2012-1.jpgAPROJumbo15202RJ.jpg
I have been after a PP for the wife now for almost year. We travelled to Paris & found our way to the Patek shop in Place Vendome. She saw a 5146R & that was it. Picked it up this week from my AD & was going to wait to give it to her on her real birthday in February but could not wait. Here it is with my 5960R
