The only thing I found to be to my dislike was that the day of the wk indicator was almost unreadable. Just to for my 20/20 eyes. But love the watch.

I picked one up as a my deal on Altrec. It definitely does what it's made to do. I like it better than my old Altimax because the compass feature allows me to take bearings. I also love the mango color. Altrec is the best.

Longines 290 rotor adjustment
The rotor on my Longines 294 seems to be a bit loose, in vertical positions it touches a plate a bit. It has a center rotor adjustment screw (the same as on 22A), but I never used it before. The screw also seems related to the locking of the rotor on the pivot. It has arrows above it, like L<->R. I would appreciate any advice on the procedure of using this screw for rotor adjustment, and also removing the rotor to check the condition of the jewel. Thanks.

Chrono subdials on ROOs
Just recently I noticed that the subdials at 9 and 12 are closer together than to the 6. Meaning they are not equally spaced.Anyone know why they would do this? I assume it has to do with the movement?Just think it is odd that they are not equally spaced, would look better if they were I think.
