Bulgari AC38TA wrist watches news:
My COSC cert arrived less than a week after requesting it. I am extrememly pleased with Omega customer service. No If I only understood what it says!
Supposing the Hamilton Watch Co. never left Lancaster and remained ,to this day, the only really big American Watch Mfg.Do you feel?1) That the designs and price points would be where they are now that the Swatch Group is calling the shots and holding onto the American heritage.2)Would companies like RGM ,Bozeman, and the Montana watch Co. be around. For some reason I think that history has done us a favor.
Greetings all,I wanted to share one of my latest acquisitions from my wife's grandfather's watch collection. It is a MIMO German Military Issue watch. I can't find very much information on it, but from what i've gathered, Mimo is a swiss company that bought the majority stock in Girard Perregeaux sometime in the 1930's. Between 1940 and 1942, these MIMO Anti-Magnetic watches (for use in and around tanks i assume) were issued to Nazi soldiers. At the conclusion of the war, MIMO ordered for all service pieces to be destroyed, with numerous reports saying that many were. I don't know how many of this model survived, but my online searches have only revealed two others. Regardless of it's rarity or value, i think it's a great piece of history, and regret that i never got to find out how it was that my wife's grandfather came to own it. I'm sure that's an interesting story as well. I've got a nice olive NATO strap on the way for it to give it that military look, and i intend on wearing it f
Purchased my SMP300 Diver back in April. Finally got it wet last week in Boracay, Philippines!
Looking to get a pre-loved 5980 from a friend but noticed this when i was inspecting the watch. When I reset the chrono hand of the 5980, it resets to 59 instead of 0. I have to double click the button ( so essentially its holding at 0 with 1 second elapsed on the timer ) to engage the chrono function so it will align to 0. Is it okay if i leave it at 0 with that method or better if the chrono function is reset Thanks!
