Ulysse Nardin 265-90-3/93 wrist watches news:
I bought a new super ocean with a yellow face in november last year. with working away from home the watch was like new as it had hardly been worn and suffered from no drops or anything. i had the watch on at the beginning of the month and noticed the bezel was "not set". i wound the bezel round so the zero was at the 12 o'clock position. shortly afterwards the bezel had moved and i noticed the watch face had started to rotate clockwise. when i then turned the bezel counter clockwise to straighten it up the face rotated clockwise. just wondered if this is a common fault. the watch still had over two months left on the warranty but i've been told by the people at the shop where i bought it it will take at least eight weeks to repair. any advice would be most grateful. cheers.
Ok, So browsing the new Patek forum (some fantastic looking models by the way! ), and window-looking at several other "high-end' brands such as JLC, Breguet, AP & the type - it got me thinking. What pulls you to a particular model at that point? For the time being, let's take the economic factor out. Let's be honest, if you're looking to spend $30K plus on a watch, you're probably not too worried about a few grand here or there. So for the moment, let's assume it's all the same price & lo & behold, you just happen to have a check in your pocket for that amount - payable to any watch manufacture. So, the question is, is it purely aesthetics at this point? Does brand history, decorated movements, complications etc. matter? A look that your great-grand children can wear when it's time to pass it down (read "timeless classic" here)? Type of gold or platinum matter? At that point, what would be your #1 or #2 item you're looking for? Let me know.. I honestly don't know w

I know this was not a $1900 watch when I started looking, but now the Omega Seamaster 300M Midsize Automatic Chronometer Watch #2222.80.00 is sooooooooooo tempting. I'm worried if I wait 6 months things recover and it's going to be $500 more. Thanks in advance for any advice for those that have the watch and have comments or just want to share their view on purchasing at these prices!
Hi friends of this awesome forum.I need your help because I m worried.I m using a Submariner for 5years and 1 month non stop, day, night, holidays, work, sports.....everyday 24 hours x 5 years and 1month.Time is very good, only 2minutes more per month.1 week ago I began to listen a sound and a vibration. When I shake the watch in vertical position, the watch makes a sound. In horizontal position, no sound. When I m using the watch I feel a vibration sometimes, and listen the sound kind of rrrrr, not very loud, but I m little obsessed with it., like a pendolum kicking the wall of the watch. When I shake my hand.I dont want to spend money in a service, I m angry with Rolex because service is very expensive. What can I do? Any experiences? Opinions plz....thanks a million,Apologies for my bad english.Greetings from Chile,
