Bell & Ross Bell & Ross 19418 wrist watches news:
As much as I love Temption watches, I don't see them pop up very often. The boutique German watch maker only produces 700 watches each year, few of which ever reach American shores. All Temption watches exude Bauhaus design, and this particular model has its share of art deco inspired influence as well. Owning a Temption CGK203, I can easily say that Temption watches are one of the most well built, highly functional, and solid watches I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. There may be no watch I am more comfortable living with on a day to day basis than a Temption.Available on eBay is a new Temption Classic Formula Rally Watch. Inspired by Formula One racing, this Temption watch features a black PVD case, and perforated black soft leather strap. Red trim excites the peripheries of this watch on the face, crown and pusher cabochons, and of course the beautiful red stitching on the strap. Few can argue that the combination of black, red, and white is anything but stunning. Te
I know I have asked for info of this model not long ago, but here I go again: I want to buy one and I'm in the process of researching everything about this model, by the way, I haven't found much info about it, just a couple of reviews given to me by you guys. I have noticed that even though the Khaki Navy has the "swiss made" words on the dial, the Khaki Navy GMT model doesn't, it only has a number (330) below the six-o'clock marker. Why does that happens and is this model made in Switzerland as well? Please, if you have more info, reviews and pics that you'd like to share, they'll be welcome. I would like to read the pros and cons about this model, and user experiences. I must confess that I didn't pay attention at all to this model the first time I saw it in a picture, but it grew up on me and now I find it very interesting and I think it has almost 100% what I need in a watch, which is a lot to say. What I'm looking for is the following (please, feel free to comment on this points an
Hi,I have an Elgin grade 64 from 1883. It was sold to me as 6s, also in the internet pocket watch database it says size 6. But the watch measures approximately 36,4 mm. So shouldn't this be more size 8? I tried to put the movement in a case, which was sold to me on ebay as size 6. The movement didn't fit. I also have an Elgin grade 45, also listed with size 6 in the database, which is a little smaller. So my question: are the informations on the internet wrong? Or did the sizes change during the time? Which case do I have to look for? Thanks for teaching me.Cheers,MarcoBy the way: if anyone has a fitting case, feel free to contact me. I repaired, cleaned and oiled the watch and it is keeping terrific time for a 131 year old granny :-D
Decided to pop open the new AP from this thread:watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/49126.htmWe'll start the brief tour with an overview:Gotta move the rotor to show both sides:Now 3 close-ups of the rotor - and yes, that's a gold perimeter weight:How's this for skinny - including the dial & hands?:Inside of the caseback - with reference number 5279 at the bottom:Don't get me wrong, I really do like the IWC caliber 401 and Piaget caliber 9Pbut to have a movement almost as thin as either of those manual winds that's a full rotor automatic should impress even the most jaded WIS (if you don't mind me saying so).
I've asked this on another forum, but currently own a 44mm Panerai 359. Love some of the 47mm's, but not sure if it's right for me. I've tried them on the past and I always thought that the 47's look too big, but each year I go back to wanting one. Does the size grow on you, or is it just me forcing myself into a watch that's too big? What are some of your own experiences between the 2 sizes? My wrist is about 6.75. Thanks!
