Bell & Ross BR 01-96 Steel Black wrist watches news:
This week, we feature an interview with the owner of a small watch goods company. I had the opportunity to meet this person on a recent trip to San Diego and was really taken by his story, his real interest in watches and, most importantly, the quality and design of his watch rolls. Erik gave me a watch roll of his own creation and it¡¯s been my ¡°go to¡± accessory during travel and, believe me, I travel a lot. We hope you enjoy this candid view from a collector. What¡¯s your name and where are you based?Erik Akin and I¡¯m from San Diego, California USA. I¡¯ve lived here my whole life except for 5 years in Japan. What¡¯s your business and what type of products do you create? How did you come up with the name?DECAMP is all about watch rolls for the collector, of late I¡¯ve also started creating some wallets too. I had been thinking long and hard about a name that would evoke an emotion instead of something eponymous. I was out to dinner one night and gazing out the window when I saw a sign for a
Here is the brand new Marcello C. Diavolo Automatic, a three hand version of the Diavolo Chronograph that was released last year. I reviewed the Marcello C. Diavolo Chronograph here to my delight. Marcello C. chose to take a very different direction with the Diavolo Automatic, and the result looks very interesting and attractive similarly, but in a different manner in comparison to the original chronograph. Marcello C. obviously spent their time ensuring that the Diavolo Automatic has a distinct high-end sporty look. This particular model is in blue, with a deep blue dial and blue leather strap. Several color option swill be available. The most notable new feature is the guilloche machine engraved dial. See the images for a closeup of the fine decoration that isn't at all distracting. It works very well with the substantial hour indicators. Best part is how the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock hour indicators are all faceted. Never cliche, the Diavolo is an extremely well polished watch. The mir
Hi All, I have a Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust (series 17000) with black dial. My question is, due to lack of maintenance in the past the face and dial are not as pristine as I'd have liked. It's more of a cosmetic issue since the movement is in a very good shape and was just serviced at an authorized Rolex service center to the tune of almost $1000. Before calling them again I was just wondering if anybody here know how much a new face and dial would cost for this series and how much the labor cost to install them would be. It's my dad's old watch so I'd like to keep it and bring it back to its former glory. But on the other I also want to be realistic since it actually doesn't look too bad and I also want to service/restore my other '80s Rolex, an Oysterperpetual.
How many here collect only one brand of watch?
Here is my latest selection in my semi regular featured German watch series.Today I selected the Limes Pharo Big Date Power Reservepic and details from watchbuysOne of the many things we like about Thomas Ickler, CEO of Limes watches, is his ability to listen and to take suggestions.During a recent meeting in Europe, Thomas asked our opinion on the design of a new Limes watch - specifically, which complications did we think would be interesting to use? We responded that many of our clients were searching for a watch with both a big date display and power reserve indicator on an easy to read dial, and one year later, a brand new watch is born.Introducing the all new Limes Pharo Big Date Power Reserve (Gro?Datum Gangreserve). As the name suggests, this watch features a two window large date display below noon, and a power reserve indicator just above six. The dial on this watch is a knockout, and features many fine touches normally found on much higher priced watches. The touches include
