- Another unique design! I love the color and shape but the band if worn a lot could start to fade. So I don't wear it constantly. I can literally wear my faith on my arm. Nothing can compare to the joy I feel just wearing it!

Jacob & Co. NT-1RG wrist watches news:
When Roald Amundsen became the first man to reach the South Pole in 1911, he got there by navigating with a sextant and a pocketwatch made by the J. Assmann watch company in Glashütte, Germany. Actually, it was two watches, both identical observation pieces certified accurate by the German Naval Institute. One was set to home time and the other to local time and both were used for navigational readings. Those watches now reside in the Fram Museum in Norway, the steward of most of Amundsen’s expedition artifacts. But not all of Amundsen’s possessions are at the museum. A descendent of Amundsen, who lives in Oslo and prefers to remain anonymous, contacted me recently to share some heirlooms, including another watch, that he inherited from his famous ancestor. 1 OF 15 Roald Amundsen was a giant of his era, which many consider the Heroic Age of polar exploration. In addition to his landmark conquest of the South Pole in 1911, he also was the first to sail thr
Hey guys!I've been in Switzerland (Neuchatel and Geneva) and having a GREAT time! Expect some AWESOME trip reports when I return (and find time to process all these photos I'm taking). Here's a couple of quick and dirty shots from Geneva - enjoy! Tomorrow morning I'm off to Berlin!
I don't see too many Piaget's, but when my grandftaher was alive and in business, their movements were among his favorites. So in tribute to "Poppa Sid," today's featured company is Piaget.--------------------------------------------------------------------------Founded1874Established Geneva, SwitzerlandPiaget¡¯s history:Since its founding in 1874, Piaget has been cultivating the spirit of luxury by fostering creativity, concern for detail, as well as totally integrated watchmaking and jewellery know-how. Originally specialising in the development and production of watch movements, the company extended its know-how to jewellery in order to launch its first jewellery-watch collections in the 1960s. Demonstrating a rare aptitude for regularly surpassing itself, Piaget excels in all that is rare, precious and exceptional. Whether in creating the thinnest automatic movement or the most expensive watch in the world, Piaget dedicates the full force of its watch- and jewellery-making competence
I always used to swim, snorkel, shower (yes, I know now the lack of wisdom in that endeavour) with watches rated at 100m.Now, I wouldn't swim/dive with less than 200m WR on the wrist. How about you? Regardless of what you actually get up to with your dive watch, what do you believe qualifies a watch to be called a 'diver' - 100m, 200m, 300m or above? I'm guessing some will also add a proviso that it must have screw in crown/pushers but I haven't included that option in the poll. I just want to know what depth rating is sufficient for the diver tag.
Guys I appreciate the help when I initially started watch shopping awhile back. I've been super pleased with the purchase you helped direct me toward. Here's a couple pictures of my 2254.50 that I've been enjoying for the last few weeks! Thanks againBrandon
