- Very nice watch - exactly as described. I wanted a bangle style for easy on and off when travelling and this fits the bill. Watch face is large, but easy to read and suits my needs well. Thanks.

Bell & Ross BR0196 wrist watches news:
Watch lovers like myself seem to have tendency to love anything "engineered." Sort of like the nerd equivalent of "designer." I just get excited anytime I see a relatively simple item which has so much thought and effort (and hopefully quality) put in to it. We like nice watches, because they take the simple concept of telling the time, and make it more functional, more aesthetic, and more interesting. That is why I like the Lumencraft GatLight V3 Titanium. The self represented "flashlight made in the spirit of swiss watches" blows me away (with light). Designed and crafted by Swiss engineers. The GatLight houses a 240 lumen LED bulb for bright, white light, and a 30% lower power consumption than traditional light bulbs. The gatling gun style looks not only looks intensely cool, but serves to allow for greater heat dispersion due to the increased surface area. The high quality titanium body is constructed from 79 hand assembled pieces. Like any fine tool, you should be able to carefull
I got a supposedly vintage Omega bracelet, form the bay, according to the seller, it's genuine Omega...It looks fine, but something I don't find good, and that's why I'm thinking is a fake is the following:The bracelet is gold plated, but it has the side of the links, stainless steel color (silver)I've thought that the gold plated should go everywhere, but honestly, I've never had a vintage bracelet, so maybe the technology back on those days, didn't allowed to "plate" the sides??? Also , the bracelet is stamped Omega, and the triangle/logo, and the number 12 in a circle, doesn't have any model number or so...Any experiences about this?Should I return the item?
I'm working on a documentary about how a watch is made. The history segment of the documentary will talk briefly about the rise in popularity of quartz watches in the 1970s. I've been trying to find video and photos of 1970s watches by Seiko and Citizen, but it's been difficult. Are there any watch collectors here who would be interested in taking a photo of their quartz watch from the '70s and sending the photo/s to me for possible inclusion in the documentary? Please message me for more details. I'd really appreciate the help.
Never tried a Breitling before but yesterday tried a white dial on bracelet Breitling Bentley GT. Very nice looking watch but at ¡ê7070 RRP its a bit steep.Anyone have any pics of one on the wrist?
A while back on a thread I was discussing with a fellow member about giving RB a shot at my 5980 because I love the watch so much but the leather doesn¡¯t work for me due to the humid places I travel to, I also love being on the water so leather is always a problem. Plus I hate taking this watch off at a hotel or any other place that is not home. The fit is perfect. I was hesitant for this specific watch. I have RB on my Daytona for fun but this is different. I have to say that don¡¯t regret the choice one bit. This 5980 will be getting a lot of wrist action on 2018 including the New Year¡¯s Eve party I will be going to in Miami! See you later freezing NYC! Also I want to wish all the members here a prosperous and healthy 2018 so we can continue the great conversations and enjoying our toys for many years to come!
