- Not only is this watch gorgeous but it is not battery powered. This means I won't be poluting our environment by needing to throw away a watch battery every two years.... yes - go green with watches too!

- A truly beautiful watch. The watch is comfortable on the wrist. It has a distinct look. The band is made from strong leather and is long enough that you still have leather for those with large wrists. A man's watch.

Bell Ross BR01-94 Titanium Orange wrist watches news:
One of the most exciting announcements at Basel last year was that Seiko was going to be bringing their coveted Prospex line to US soil. Amongst Seiko collectors and enthusiasts, the Prospex line has always been home to some of the most sought after sports models. Watches with good mechanical movements and tough cases. And while there have always been ways to get them if you were in-the-know, now that they are officially here (even being available in shop at Seiko's Madison ave store) the deed is easier.Bringing the line over wasn't the only news of course, they also had new watches and the Prospex Kinetic GMT SUN019P1 really stood out amongst the offerings. A beast of a diver, the watch had strong hints of Seiko's famous Tuna divers in both the case and the dial, but was its own thing with a new design. It just rang of what Seiko does well, especially in the case, so I knew we had to get one for review when possible. Design aside, it also is the first watch we've featured on w&w w
Thought I'd try something different. Had a couple of gold colored watches laying around. A Benrus, and a Tissot 516. Both from the 60's. Both had some discoloration on the cases. Broke out a can of Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish that I use on the Harley's aluminum and chrome. This is a slightly abrasive polish, sort of like a mild rubbing compound. If you use it on dull aluminum, eventually the aluminum will look like chrome. I'll take a little dab on a cloth and rub it on the metal and then buff it with a soft towel. The first towel will turn black from the metal being cleaned. So, I tried it on the two "gold" cases and it worked great!!!! The can says "perfect for all metals." I then tried it on the clasp on my AirKing. I used it sparingly and it removed the light scratches and brought the clasp to a very shiny gloss. If you have a brushed or dull finish (and want it to stay that way) I wouldn't use this product as it is slightly abrasive and will make the surface look shiny like ch
I'm already looking for a particular watch to dream about and save and build for. I don't really need to save for a watch in this range, but I have no reason to buy anything (yet) because the Breitling doesn't leave my wrist (still). The type of watch I'm looking for should look best with a black strap (non NATO or ZULU) bracelet would be fine standard, but I'd like to have a strap too. I'm looking in the range of $600 to $1200. Things that I'm looking for.1. Swiss Made auto or Swiss Made manual wind (either is find, I might prefer manual)2. Guilloche (my favorite) or sub seconds3. I like a "reserve de marche" complication so I can see how much "juice" is left4. If the watch has an exhibition case back I'd like a decorated (preferably non-unitas) movement.5. Chronometer preferred but is unlikely at this price point so it is not necessary.6. I would only like White, Silver, or a Black dial that would look nice with a dress shirt.7. I'd like a brand that I can recognize and carries some r
Here is my story... I began to manually wind my 3 month old Omega PO and I noticed that it felt geary and not smooth when the crown was pulled out. On 10/14 I brought it in to Toureau with a copy of my warranty cards and they sent it in to the Swatch Group for me. Since only the Swatch Group and work on the new Co-Axial movement. After numerous phone calls Tourneau could never give me an answer or give me an update on my watch. Weeks went by... Then on 12/04 Tourneau called me and informed me that the Swatch Group has yet to fix my watch or even look at it be 'cause the date was not filled out by my AD when I purchased the watch. They wanted me to fax them my receipt which I did that same day. I was so pissed that I called the Swatch Group myself and spoke to Shawn about their poor customer service. He informed me (in a condescending manner) that it would be at least another 4-6 weeks before I would get my watch back!!! I currently have Jennifer with Tourneau talking to her regional re
In a 30 minute span while walking down Abbott Kinney in Venice Beach California today, I have seen a vintage looking AP (two tone I think), a Daytona ceramic white dial and a WG BLRO!!!! In just 30 minutes.I hope they all consulted TRF first about whether it was safe to walk around wearing these fine timepieces...I feel like a bum in my 116610LN right now.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
