Breitling Chronomat 41

A little fun
I can't resist a good cause, and this was from the Goodwill website. It keeps time second for second with my Breitling so that's COSC specs even though it's in obvious need of a service. You can see a discoloration where the serial number is which my watchmaker thinks should be easy to remove. I've been noticing a few pocketwatches and stopwatches that caught my fancy so I said why not? I wound it fully at 1:00 this afternoon to check the reserve. I'm digging the blued hands, and the audible tick.

I have first reserve on a MS ti that should arrive at the dealer later this year, however, since Conkers posted pics of his platinum 44mm I've been thinking about this a lot and it seems that with the new price structure there is only about 7/8k difference between the two.I only want 1 watch in the 44mm size as I like the 42mm but 1 big watch won't hurtThe question is which would you guys get, I don't flip my watches so this question is simply...which is the nicer looking or cooler watch in your opinion?

Friends-so, long story short. I'm in the market for a skyfall AT. i tried the 41.5 in another color and was ready to purchase but my AD, was quickly out of stock. he also had no 38.5s to try at the time. so while i was waiting for him to get back in stock on the larger AT, i do what everyone here does, i started reading all the various threads on 38.5 vs 41.5 and the watch in general, preparation of my purchase.now i am in trouble i have been to the NYC boutique many times and am at a stand still on which to get. I'm a 7 inch wrist, not a big guy, who owns a newish Sub ND, explorer 11, and this is the big change recently, only one Panerai, my first love the 243. i have definitely gravitated to the smaller, now thIS sounds crazy to many of you, models over the last two years. i only wear the 44mm Panerai in the summer. Proportionately i feel i could go either way, thou aging eyes like the 41.5 better.would like to hear from the group on experiences, all advise is appreciated.Posted this

Question PP 5711: Secondhand runs through, while adjusting the time. Normal?
Hello experts and PP owners,I picked up my bnib PP 5711 at my AD two weeks ago. When I adjust the time, the secondhand runs through (it doesn¡¯t stop).Is this normal?

My Wife's new addition
After spending most of January looking for a new addition to our collection she picked a Wonderful 31 Oyster perpetual with a lovely Silver Dial.Our local AD which we have known for sometime in Canterbury treated us to a bottle of Champagne with a few added extras..After the wife spent a short time admiring our new purchase while I popped over to have a look at the wolf winders..I pop back to the desk to take a few photos and totally unaware there's something not quite right..The wife is looking the other way trying so hard not to give the game away..trying hard not to laugh..Still totally unaware of what my wife and staff had done... Rotten lot well I really need glasses...
