New watch brand Carbon14 launched last month at Ecofest, New York City’s largest environmental conference and festival. More than 10,000 people attended the multi-day event. The brand, also known as C14, offers 3 collections called Air, Earth, and Water. To spotlight the brand’s environmental focus, it is offering the $50,000 C14 Environmental Award. The purpose of the Award is to highlight the work of “ordinary people doing extraordinary things” to help the environment. Nominations can be submitted via the brand’s website. Votes for nominees will be cast online, and the 20 nominees receiving the most votes will be reviewed by a panel of judges that includes Sheryl Crow, host of Discovery Channel¡¯s Planet Green Summer Rayne Oakes, environmental scientist Felicia Keesing, founder/CEO of CauseCast Ryan Scott, and Carbon14 CEO Robert Hollander. The winner will be announced on Earth Day – April 22, 2010.Click the image of the Carbon14 Earth 3.3 below to
Here is a really nice one for the wife or girl friend in 18KWG with 12 diamonds and 8 sapphires. VERY RARE 1920's MODEL in "solid gold" with the rare 17J Cartouche movement.........Helps if you get her one every now and then (LOL) Keeps thing nice and quiet sometimes. Not all the time however. Makes a nice early Xmas present. Recently over hauled and runs great!!! I need to do a little more polishing on the back side and then it will be perfect. Each diamond is about 1.5mm as close as I can measure with a digital caliper. Looks like about .60 points in diamonds. Does that sound correct for 12 diamonds? I am not an expert on this part.
