Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Phantom wrist watches news:
That's an easy question for me. The watch I once vowed I'd never wear. The manually-wound OMEGA Speedmaster Professional.
Well I think I have found my next must have piece. An Oris TT1 or TT1 Titan diver.Been trying to do my research on the entire lineup, but they all look so similar, esp the titan series. Not to mention older versions with slight changes make it that much harder. A few basic questions:1) What model year marked the change over from the carbon fiber looking dial to the new wave style?2) Are all the TT1's 44mm or larger?3) I know this isn't the must have piece according to the masses, like a Big Breitling or Rolex, but are there a number of replicas running around on ebay?4) How does the titanium version feel. I am used to a big heavy watch should I stick with the SS?5) What kind of prices are we typically seeing on the preowned market for an entry level non chrono 44mm TT1/Titan.6) Are all the oris watches marked with a serial number on the caseback and have a corisponding serial on the paperwork?Any insight from the Oris enthusiasts would be great, thanks.
I have an old Omega that was prolly made in 1968-1969. It was a gift I got back then but don't know anything about it - was hoping someone here might. Want to know if a $250 repair is worthwhile when balanced on its current value? Here's what I do know:Automatic movementAcrylic crystalSorry if this is a needle in the haystack
SS vs Ti....pros, cons, preferences?
...spotted at an event yesterday. From last year's regatta, but still a pretty cool pic.
