- I received this watch for Christmas and have worn it nearly every day for the last 7 months. It still looks brand new. The crystal is still scratch free even though I've hit it several times and thought for sure that it would be damaged. Even the stainless steel case seems to be harder than normal. It's also beautiful to look at.

Bell & Ross Vintage BR 126 Officer Polished Steel Black wrist watches news:
Excuse the poor quality pics
Hi, I am new to this forum and a total noob to IWC. I have been looking for a nice black faced watch with a leather strap that I can wear with my business attire. I have my choices down to Baume & Mercier Classima Executive and the IWC. I prefer the looks of the IWC, which is of course also more expensive than the B&M. Anyway, I am torn between the Portofino and Pilots 371701 (see attached pix). As I know nothing about IWC, I would greatly appreciate if anyone can educate me on the merits of each watch and which one they would ultimately purchase and why. Thanks in advance.
I have a Luminox and LOVE the tritium lighting. But its not the most elegant watch. In preparation for my next watch I'd like to explore all brands that have similar lighting technology. Can anyone provide a few brands? Thank you.
Damaskos are never the easiest watches to shoe. The white stitched strap that accompanies the watch from new is not to my taste. Damasko as a company stubbornly refuse to issue a bracelet for their watches despite repeated outcry from their loyal followers, myself included. As such, you¡¯re pretty much left to your own devices with regard strap choice and my choice is this custom ammo strap by DB10 Straps.Damasko DC66 On DB10 Ammo Strap ? thirtyfivemill
I inherited a 1965 Patek Philippe Gondolo black dial with white gold mesh bracelet from my late father about 20 years ago. When he passed away, I was still in my teens years and couldn't care less about watch so I asked my mom to keep it for me. I wore a funky Swatch and it was good enough for me. Fast forward 20 yrs later, I was on holidays with my family and stayed at my mom place. A few days ago, she was organizing her safe and stumble upon this time piece and gave it to me. I have completely forgotten about this watch and glad that I have found it again. The condition of the watch was not the best but I believe with overhaul and dial restoration or dial change, this watch will be quite a knockout time piece. The only thing that I notice is the mold aound the edge of the dial. The white gold mesh bracelet is still good condition. I have a few questions for vintage lover out there:1. Is possible to remove the mold around the edge of the dial or better replace the whole dial. If
