Precious little is known (to me) about then new Frederic Jouvenot watches. I would know a bit more if I was able to properly read French, and because all the press information is in a PDFgood luck trying to get me to put all that into the Google Translate tool. Good thing that a picture is worth a thousand words, because these images say a lot. The new watches will be released soon - in Basel if all goes according to plan. You can see that they are all based around the same theme and movement, but in these images there are at least two cosmetically different models. There is a distinct retro feeling from the watches. Hello folks,Long time since my last post, but I'm back here I'm in the pursuit of a 16622 but I can't see it in the Rolex website any longer, is it discontinued?If so, how much can be a fair price if I found one Brand New? my AD has it, and is asking $12700 Any thoughts?

I was thinking that of course Patek will make one or a few new models for the occasion, maybe a few changes in existing models and maybe a special edition, and thought it would be interesting to know 3 weeks from Basel what you think they will do, I read here a few guys wanting a PC, of course with moon phase, that is a strong possibility, don't really see what else they could add to the range of Nautilus, can't imagine things like equation of time, tourbillon, minute repeater or things like that so the PC seems the best bet for a new model, they could also make a special edition of the exact same model they started with, no seconds hand, but not really sure, AP made the same thing, well they always had no seconds but on the 40th they launched an almost perfect replica, since basically the 5711 was made in every single way possible now I don't see what they could add apart from a special one with no seconds.I am kind of guessing that they will launch a 5990 and maybe a 5726 with blue d

Can¡¯t tell the time, but do I give a hoot.
Finally wore my black dial 500 today.I know it¡¯s hard to tell the time quickly, but I couldn¡¯t care less. At times it takes two seconds, but I still push it to three. Honeymoon period obviously.Btw I¡¯m not a race driver, solicitor or have a job that dictates telling the time quickly or covertly. So stare I can. I especially love gloss black dials. So for me It had to be black dial with black bezel.Those that buy white because they dig it, fine. Those that blindly buy white because of the higher resale value, even if they prefer black, behave yourself.Btw, this is all tongue in cheek.
