Anyone seen this before?
Anyone able to roughly date this watch? I see lots of configurations but I haven't found one exactly matching this one. I got close, but the word "automatic" was lower. Also, is it best to send this back to the factory or will a local retailer do the job right? I'm usually pretty skeptical of anyone local. It would only be cosmetic as the watch keeps perfect time. Sent from my galafreyan transdimensional communicator 100 years from now. G
I'm trying to figure out if a light brown/tan strap would make the dial more obviously brown, or less obviously brown than the black strap does. Unfortunately, I don't have a light brown/tan strap of any size to use as a basis for comparison! Another question - the nunbers and markers are pure lume material. Anybody have any guesses as to how long they'll retain their original color, and how it will age? I have a Tissot that's about 17 years old, and the lume on the hands darkened almost completely after about 10 years or so. I'd like to think the numbers/markers on this will age better! Thanks for opinions.2012-07-12 17.51.41.jpg
Hello guys, new to the forum...Where is the best Omega Service Center aside from the one in NJ?I had my speedmaster serviced there but man...it took 8 weeks to fix a tiny screw in the bracelet...after a year and a half, that tiny screw came off again and i do not know where to find one to fix it myself aside form getting it from the service centers....any ideas?BTW it is a Speedmaster date with an 18mm stainless steel bracelet. I replaced the screw temporarily with a hard plastic insert as you can see in the pics to fix it.
