Please help me validate the value of this antique Patek Philippe watch
Folks, I am trying to get valuation for a Patek Philippe watch, a 25 jewels model I have had since the last 40 years. This was passed on to me by my father and I would like to see if my estimate for what this watch is worth is in the correct ball park. I am trying to sell this to the right buyer and so would like to find some help here from people interested in collecting antique Patek Philippe watches.I am looking at a starting bid of around a $100,000 USD to begin with. Not sure if I am in the right ball park but since it's an antique I figured it would be worth atleast that much. Why should or shouldn't I buy a Longines HydroConquest?
Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I've only posted one other time. I'm looking to buy a new watch. I think I've settled on the 41mm automatic black aluminum bezel HydroConquest. I would very much welcome feedback on the watch.What I am looking for from this particular watch purchase is as follows:1. Dressy enough to wear with business casual clothing and the occasional suit and tie (I already wear a Conquest Heritage 40mm gold watch for formal occasions).2. Casual enough to wear with jeans and shorts in the summer.3. Durable enough for every day wear, the occasional swim, and the occasional hike (for heavy recreational activities, I already wear a Seiko Black Knight).4. Longevity enough to have for the next 20 years as an everyday watch.5. Unique enough looking that it is not a typical "homage" watch.From my research it appears that the HydroConquest I am considering is well suited to these objectives. What are your thoughts? Why should I buy it? Why shouldn't I buy it?

What Omega is this?
Took my son to estate sales at 6:30 this morning.....brutal Found a couple of jems. I cant find the Baylor Heuer yet (cant wait to replace the crystal, and add black leather). I am curious about the Omega. The cal 361 was an automatic for the most part. I found it in some "gold" manual winds, but not in a 10K RGP like this one? Anyone know what model it is? The Omega site database does not even have the cal 361 in their list.....weird.ThanksJustin

Which Moonwatch?
Hey guys. Will flip my Speedy automatic (date) for a Moonwatch. My AD has been kind enough to set aside a sapphire sandwich and a 50th Anniversary Patch Model for me. I like the sapphire sandwich as its dial retains the simple, classic and timeless look of the Moonwatch. However, I also like the 50th Anniversary Patch Model. I know the Patch Model belongs to a limited series but am worried I will grow tired of the dial in time. Which one do you guys recommend I get? I need to decide soon lest my AD lets go of either or both models. Would greatly appreciate your opinions to help me make a decision.Thanks in advance!

can you tell me : is it a good buy?its 2003 model, so 11 years old, but just been serviced a couple of months ago.... theyre asking ?3750 (GBP)which is money i dont have - so theyve said they would allow my rolex 114060 as straight trade... (i paid ?4250 for it BNIB and wore it for a year)should/could i look around more/ bater more - or go for it ??ps - that still leaves me a rolex in my hand - so now ill have a PAM and a rolex to swap between, rather than two very similar rolex
