Hublot H1420.AME.1 wrist watches news:
My choice for the star of Vacheron Constantin of the show would be this traditional skeleton heritage Watch (version 38 mm wide white gold 18 k). It begins with a 1120 SQ vintage 1967 automatic movement. The movement is remarkably thin at 2.45 mm, even if it is automatic. What is unnecessary has been stripped of the movement, and the rest has been beautifully decorated and skeleton as you can see.
Hello all,Which do you think is the best all around SS Sports model?? New 42mm ExplorerII, SS Ceramic Sub, or SS GMT MasterII.....Rgds.,Ed
The Casetta appears to have specific setting for TPD. 650 bi-directional is what I'll need for the majority of my watches. My questions is that if 650TPD (or anything else) is set and the module rotates every 10 minutes to equal this specific TPD, when the rotation finishes and the Rotorwind does is thing moving back and forth from the gravity of the watch, doesn't this end up equaling more than the specified about of TPD? To this end, if a particular watch is heavier than another, wouldn't the heavier watch probably get even more movement of the rotor equaling even more TPD than a lighter watch? I understand the there is built in over wind protection in a movement and not much likelihood of any damage but I was just curious if the TPD set would be inherently exceeded because of the way the module operates? Thanks! Eric
I'm a big Orient fan and am looking to get either a Royal Orient or Grand Seiko in the not so distant future. Does anyone have thoughts or experience on how the Royal Orient caliber 88700 stacks up to the movement in a similar Grand Seiko I guess it closest equivalent would be the Seiko 9S55.It's easy to find lots of info and opinions on Grand Seiko movements, but info on Orient movements is very hard to come by.Thanks.
I made a token bid on this watch, but I'm 99.99% sure I won't win it. If I do, it'll be a real steal.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1182
