Azimuth and Mexican explorer Fernando Alberto Lozano Andrade have collaborated to create the new Xtreme-1 series of three watches: the Sea Hum GMT, Sea Hum 3TZ, and the Deep Diver. Fernando has previously climbed two volcanos: 19,400 foot Licancabur in Chile-Bolivia, and 16,500 foot Popocatepetl in Mexico. This year he will climb the 22,608 foot Ojos del Salado volcano on the Argentina-Chile border and dive in its crater lake. If successful, Fernando will set a world record for high altitude diving. The Xtreme-1 collection has been created for extreme sports enthusiasts. The Sea Hum 3TZ displays up to 3 time zones and is waterproof to 500m, while the Sea Hum GMT allows the quick reading of up to 2 different time zones while enabling the wearer to dive to a depth of 1500m. Each year Van Cleef & Arpels releases a series of limited edition watches that revolve around a certain theme. One of the themes this year was Jules Verne and the concept of discovery and exploration. To this end Van Cleef & Arpels created a few limited edition models to memorialize some of the places that Jules Verne described in his writings. There are also a few other pieces that expand on the concept of the exploration theme.Pictured here are some of the pieces that directly address the stories of Jules Verne. I am in the market for one of the 50th Ann. models preferably the rose gold plated, but will settle for the yellow gold if I have to. Couple easy questions 1. How difficult is it to find one of the rose gold plated versions? I am aware of the issue/problem of rose gold edition boxes containing yellow gold watches, but are the rose gold ones out there readily available?2. Are there more than one version in yellow gold? I keep running into listings for "Gold tone...black face with diamond at 10:00, individually numbered..." Are these different than the 1 of 1000, brown face editions? The model number seems to be the same: H2441521Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated!
