- I activated the calorie counter and layed it on my table. Amazingly, simply lying on a table, it calculated that 82 calories had been burnt in 1 hour. Please explain to me how this is possible! I am very disappointed in this.

Breitling K 13019 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we are?talking with one of the co-founders of Bell & Ross, Carlos Rosillo. Read on to learn about the family watch that inspired (and inspires) him.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Carlos Rosillo: My name is Carlos Rosillo and I am the co-founder and CEO of Bell & Ross.ABTW:?Many people define a grail watch differently - how do you see them?Carlos Rosillo: For me, the grail watch is the one that above all wakes up emotions. Besides the value of the materials and the craftsmanship, this kind of timepiece has to hold inside a high emotional weight. It¡¯s the case for an inherited watch or an exceptional timepiece.ABTW:?Given that definition, what was your first grail watch, and what did you like about it?Carlos Rosillo: The first one wa
The first watch fitted with a mechanical adjustable alarm was born in the Vulcain workshops in 1947 after 5 years of development. The "Cricket function" has since become the Locle brand's signature and is so called because it makes a noise similar to a cricket when it goes off. To coincide with Baselworld 2015, the dials on the manual wind pieces from the 50s President’s Watch collection have been redesigned. The new look features a circular guilloch¨¦ centre and linear guilloch¨¦ hour rim in a range of three different shades of grey: silver grey, grey beige (or "greige") and mouse grey. The 42mm steel case houses the famous manual wind mechanical Cricket V-11 calibre which brings to life the time functions (hours, minutes and seconds in the centre), alarm (point which can be adjusted by the winding crown) and date (display at 6 o' clock). I got this size 6/0s Waltham last week that was in a giant lot of 40 that I bought. Out of the 40 maybe 8 are usable and restorations have begun. I don't know how many case backs I have popped open in my life, probably a thousand or so but this one made me do a double take and look twice. I pretty much know the solid gold hallmarks and stamps on the watches that I deal in by memory and I don't have to reference a book very often to know what I have in front of me. But this one made me crack open a book. At first glance it just looked like gold fill but on the second glance I thought that I got lucky and that it was solid gold. I checked the book for this Waltham mark but it was NOT in the gold filled section of the book. I knew that I have seen this one before so on a whim I looked in the solid gold mark section of the book and there it was right in front of me! The same exact mark in the solid gold section of the book! Looks like somebody in the past did an acid test to check for cont
I¡¯m back in my hotel room after my trip to Baselworld and I¡¯m sitting here going through all of my handouts and catalogs. This bag must weigh thirty pounds; you wouldn¡¯t believe the extravagance of some of the catalogs. Many are hardback books. TAG Heuer actually had two, one for the complete line and another just on the Grand Carrera. The Sinn handout consisted of a folder containing a hardback book roughly A4 sized and about an inch to one and a half inches thickness, unfortunately for me it¡¯s only in German, and some inserts detailing their new models. I still have many catalogs to look through including Patek Philippe, Ulysses Nardin, and others. What a haul! Our trip began at about 7:00 am as we left our hotel in Heidelberg bound for Basel. The trip took about 2 hrs and following the recommendation of the Baselworld website, we parked on the German side of the border in a Park & Ride lot and took the shuttle to the exhibition. This worked well as the shuttle dropped us off betw
