The Planet Ocean Collection was first launched in 2005 and has become a mainstay, in the last 10 years, of Omega's sports watch collections. This year Omega has released a brand new Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Chronograph, with a new co-axial chronograph movement (METAS/Master Chronometer certified, a first for Omega chronographs) and in new materials. I have on of these and I can't decide if it's genuine or a knockoff. Does anybody know anything about this model. Where it was made? When it was made? Value? A new one is selling on ebay for $1900. I'd love to learn if mine is genuine or not, Any information would be greatly appreciated. Zeitwerk anyone??
I posted this thread on another forum some days back and was surprised at the lack of response. I was hoping to get some additional feedback here on WTF.-I've loved the look and the uniqueness of the Zeitwerk from the first time I saw it and I feel destined to have one in my collection. I'm curious how many others on the forum own one at this time and in what metal? I'm most interested in the luminous platinum reference model and am curious if others have gotten one, or going to get one, or have tried and can't find one? I've read most of the previous threads related to this model and it seems that all that have seen and touched one in the flesh really love it.
