Emporio Armani AR1421 wrist watches news:
I've been paying more attention to American vintage watches on Ebay since I've been reading past posts on this forum. I just received this project watch through the mail and wasn't sure what I was getting. The case is solid stainless steel and the movement is labeled 630. I understand that, based on an earlier post, the movement is based on an other Elgin design but manufactured in Switzerland. There is much work to do but the price was more than fair; The seconds hand shakes too much, sort of like the way a Chameleon shimmies across a tree branch, the dial is borderline and one of the lugs is partially unsoldered. One thing interesting about the Wadsworth case is that the movement is unsecured and the stem is accessed from the back but the movement itself is removed through the front.I welcome any comments or information.P1350602.jpgP1350603.jpgP1350607.jpgP1350596.jpg
How about a thread showing our vintage pieces. I have a number but I'll start with the vintage Zenith Pilot I took possession of last week. From approximately 1961.
I am on the hunt for a new watch. I wanted a Rolex anniversary sub but don't like buying used watches.Far off from that vision i saw the carbon faced Double Eagle. They are under $4000 and even close to $3000 on EBAY brand new. I have no problem with the non AD deal although 2 of them in the mid 3's are AD.Anyway, what is the deal for a non watch tech person in regards to the movement I have read about? Are there more then one version? Anybody have real world experience with watch as they are a few years old at this point???Does it wear as a large watch? Thanks any help is greatly appreciated
HelloIm planning to jump in the Patek¡¯s world. First I wanted the 67, its simole and beautiful. But now I have doubts 64 is gorgeous and love its complications.HELP
After a long preparation, with great effort, the extremely dangerous deep dive test of the Rolex James Cameron Watch.Surrounded by wild beasts and deep sea monsters, the test was made under the most dangerous conditions - AND everything went well, the Rolex High Tech device survived the ultimate test. The diving depth estimated 30cm :-)It was a hard test and I will never do it again!Ps: even the moray looks curious ...
