Bremont Supermarine Watch Now More Super With The S2000
The biggest "cultural" difference between the Bremont Supermarine 500 and the Supermarine 2000 (aka S2000 - no, not like the Honda) is the little text at the bottom of the dial. The Supermarine replaces the old "Swiss Made" with simply "London." Does that mean the S2000 is not Swiss made? No. Instead, it shows that Bremont has come a long way in its ongoing journey to be a serious British luxury brand. It wants people to know that it is English through and through, and will eventually lead to movements made in the UK as opposed to Switzerland.The Supermarine 500 remains my favorite Bremont watch to-date. Incoming Hopefully Not Outgoing [Poll Included]
I am happy to announce I got my AP Diver today, complete with 2 straps that totally don't fit...LOL...Ok they almost fit on the tightest notch, and I wore today after taking a sauna to expand my wrists...haha. But I did order 2 new ones from AP, I am just trying to decide if the watch is too big for my 6.3-6.4 inch wrists.Lugs are right at the brink of hanging over, but not as bad as AP 44 Novelty I briefly tried last year. Comfort is better as well.I love love love the design, and my only concern is size.It is also very comfortable even with a fairly loose fit.I think I might be able to pull it off with the smaller straps.What do you guys think? Crunchy feeling when winding 114060
I just went to wind my Submariner, and it feels crunchy.. or, a whole lot less smooth than usual when winding it. Is this normal? I've only had the watch for about 6 months and am worried something is wrong.Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
