Hi folks,I am proud to announce my latest acquisition (three days ago) ¨C Avenger Skyland (blue face). I already own Rolex, Omega and Oris watches, but never had Breitling before. I have to say that I am impressed with the uppermost level of craftsmanship on this watch ¨C details and engineering are top of the line! Unfortunately, since I work away from home in a very strict computer environment, I can not share my pictures with you as I am restricted on uploading pictures from internet or in any other way. After being a proud owner of Rolex, Omega and Oris, and now being able to compare it all to Breitling, I would also recommend Breitling to any of the watch enthusiast out there. Brilliant watch!!On the side note I would like to ask a bracelet polishing question. All my watches, before Breitling, are fitted with brushed bracelets. I have never had a watch with completely polished bracelet before. I do not mind minor scratches because they are true character notes; however, I am wonderin
Hi my next door neighbor knowing I'm into watches asked her son to have me obtain information on this Illinois watch I took picture as best I could since my photo skills are marginal It was her father's watch Any feedback would be greatly appreciated Hope this is in proper forum
My wife purchased a Rotations 4 watch winder for me for Christmas, and i have some questions:1: How do I keep the watch from flopping around? The pillow supplied is way too small to hold the watch in place, so its just moves around as it rotates.2: It has some options as to how many turns I want per day, and the directions I want it to go (left, right, and back & forth it looks like). The primary watch is a Tag Grand Carerra 6RS. What rev and direction do I need? How do I find out?3: Since the wheel holds two watches, I had heard that it should be balanced with a second watch. Will it hurt to "wind" a non-auto watch? I was gonna use my daily Tissot to balance it out, but I dont wanna screw it up.Thanks in advance for any help you guys may be able to offer...Ron
An Appreciation of Time and Friends Met Here.Based on the Christmas story and rhyme ¡°Twas the night before Christmas¡±Twas the night before Christmas; last year I recallNo sounds of a wrist watch were ticking at all.It had been many years since I've had a new watch. No new Timex, no Rolex, not even a Swatch. My wife and I childless, having had only pets.Nearly 30 years together; still as close as it gets.My wife had her Timex Triathlon to wear.It was all she had wanted for her Christmas birthday last year. Then this year, on these forums, I had made some new friends,As my love for all watches was renewed once again.I¡¯d seen other watch forums but nothing else had compared; To the wonderful pictures and the things that I¡¯ve shared.I have talked of things owned and the Moon Phase I¡¯d craved;Yet still couldn¡¯t afford one no matter how hard I¡¯d saved. Then one day, while WTF browsing, a new message did appear,Twas a PM from someone I had met while on here.A friend read of my plights, strong des
