Philip Stein 6EIZB wrist watches news:
It's that time of year again. Once again my husbands birthday is coming up and once again he wants a watch. He is bored of his Breitling now, and wants an Omega. So now I want to sell his Breitling. I have no idea where to begin or where to go so I thought I would ask here. Do I post it on Craigslist or Ebay? I have already gone back to where I bought it for him (La Swiss in Toronto Ontario Canada), but they do not do resales. I should mention that it is still under the warranty until October 2010. It's a really nice watch, but a little flashy for my taste. Any thoughts would be appreciated.Ella
What do you guys think comparing the omega speedmaster 44mm 9300 vs the manual wind moon watch speedy pro?is double the price tag on the 44mm 9300 movement worth it over the original speedy moon watch?Just some thoughts? What do you prefer? Or get? Post some cool pictures if you got them compression.
Hi folks, Can anyone give me a rough idea of what the new price of a 5040 (preferably G or R) was in the UK? I've lusted after one for a while now and having tried on its bigger brother the 5940 at the weekend, I think it might be time to consider actually buying one more seriously! Having seen the new price of that (¡ê57k) I'd be interested to know what the 5040 was going for new?Grateful for any help you could offer.
Hi all,I have the newer 5711 with the pins that hold the bracelet links together. Anyone here have any tips or advice on sizing this bracelet. What tools are required? I can always bring it to my AD and get it done but I always like adjusting straps/bracelets on my own. Thanks!
I was wondering if anyone has any information around grey market/second hand dealers margins what they are and why they are comprised this way?I am based in London and the majority of sellers are looking between 25-30% mark-up from the price they'll purchase a watch at to what they will list the watch for sale at.This seems quite high to me especially with watches which are still under Rolex warranty. I think bar checking authenticity and taking a few photos it seems odd require such a large mark up.I know each dealers will have overheads; staff, premises, employees etc but sometimes I wonder why they don't just list the watch at a lower price (tha most of the market) and take the instant profit rather than sit on them for a while to achieve these margins.Any dealers who could shed some light on this?
