- I bought this watch for myself while looking for Christmas presents for others. I have only had it for a few months but really like it. It looks very nice for the price. My husband has a watch from the same company and loves his too.

Michele MWW06V000079 wrist watches news:
Hello all,I dont post on this forum much, but I spend a good amount of time proweling on it. I dont know why, but I have always loved watches. My first "nice" watch was a Seiko Coutura Kinetic (which I still own). My second was a Tag Heuer Aquacer (which I have subsequently sold), my third was a Tag Heuer Carrera (currently for sale on ebay), my fourth was an Omega Speedmaster Professional (which I plan on always owning), and my fith was a Baume & Mercier Classima Executive (which I may always own...or replace with an IWC Portuguese one day). The other day I was walking down the street and saw the Omega Boutique in Seattle, so decided to stop in. I immediately fell in love with the Omega Seamaster AT 8500 caliber 42 mm diameter. It seemed to meet all my timepiece needs: versatility, in-house movement, display back, 42 diameter size, and simply just spot on craftmanship. After going home and reviewing my finances, I decided to take the plunge. So today I took a little bit longer of
Just picked up my dad's two watches from restoration. He passed away about 6 years ago and left me two watches. A mid 50's SS Benrus wristalarm, and a tank style 14K GF Hamilton. Never could remember if he received the Hamilton as a HS, or College graduation present. Never knew which model the Hamilton was (until yesterday!!!). I had the watchmaker remove the back in front of me, it's a Wadsworth!! Dad graduated from HS in about 1942, then enlisted in WWII, then finished up at Marquette in about 1947????. Could someone give me an approximate age of the Wadsworth??? I don't have a S/N. Thanks!!!
Hi guys,I bought my Carrera a few years back, been spending most of it's time in the safe - do occasionally wear it. It has the OEM s/s bracelet, as the blue model does not come with a leather strap. I've searched the net to find a blue Carrera with leather strap that actually looks good. Have any of you Carrera owners fitted a leather strap to your watch? As always, your input will be appreciated!
I swung by the AD on Grand Cayman Island and checked out their inventory. Thinking about a Royal Oak Chrono, either the all black or panda version. I had heard that the Caribbean was the place to go for discounts but they wanted $18,500 for either one. I haven't done much due diligence on this model, but I experienced some sticker shock & got out of there in a hurry. Maybe I could have negotiated him down a little? Is that what ROCs are going for now? Now I'm thinking of just holding out for the larger version.
Some people would be very uneasy wearing a strangers watch and choose to only buy new. Most people that buy a watch in good faith have no problem wearing a preowned watch without knowing its history. Now lets say you find out that the previous owner was arrested for defrauding elderly women out of their life savings. What would you Do?1 Try and get your money back.2 Sell the watch.3 Keep the watch.
