Breitling A42362 wrist watches news:
I was wondering who all has insurance to project their Rolex(es) and how much it generally costs? Also, can you please recommend an insurance provider? Thanks in advance -
A few days ago a colleague in the UK was mugged at knifepoint and his wife's white gold Ventura was stolen. Given the rarity of this piece I suspect there is a very good chance it will surface in the collector market sooner rather than later.I would ask for everyone to please keep an eye out for this watch as it could easily show up anywhere in the world, on the Internet or at a show. The case has the serial number S424541; the movement is a Hamilton 505 and the dial is refinished black. I restored the watch just a few months ago and the condition is superb. If any information about this watch turns up, please email me at rene@rondeau.net so I can pass it along to the authorities.
Thanks for all the opinions given in this thread: http://www.watchtalkforums.info/foru...ld-you-do.html. There were a couple angles I had not thought of. It was down to these two:Both are from the 60's, and the grey dial is supposedly from 1966 which is the year I was born. They're both in excellent shape. The grey dial is much less common, and the case & lugs have very crisp edges. The silver/white dialed model is a little rounded from polishing but the dial is in better shape but not by much. I have many watches with dials like the silver/white one and the grey dial is classic IWC with the rounded rivet head minute markers so I contacted the seller of the grey one. I think we can work something out as his asking price is well within the ball park of what these usually sell for (a refreshi

I¡¯ve been trying to get on a few waiting lists for a 116610LN and had a rather interesting addition to the response from an AD via email. Presumably they would have no actual hard info on this given the secrecy of Rolex, but it¡¯s usual that they said it:Quote:
