Bedat & Co. has an interesting history for not being such an old brand. Life, lost, and then reborn, the brand today is now trying to attack Cartier's market share for women's pieces. During the brand's former life (and potentially again in its future) it had a few men's models as well. One of my favorite of them (and one of the only ones) was the Bedat & Co. Number (No.) 8.Wit a sort of cushion shaped case that had a round dial, the watch comes in a few flavors. There was a power reserve model, and one with a bit date, as well as this most basic version that happened to also be a limited edition model. This is known as the Ref. 878 series of Bedat & Co. Omega Seamaster Cosmic missing day/date frame
Hi everyone. This is my first post to this forum. As you can see I'm the owner of a seamster cosmic. It's not in mint condition but still pretty sweet. It keeps near perfect time. The one thing that I can't get my mind off is the missing day/date frame. I've been skulking around on ebay looking for a cheap equivalent repair object, but so far most of them are +500$. I've also checked out new dials at ofrei, but they don't seem to have this particular one. So I'm wondering if anyone here know where I could get hold of this part? Patek, which one?
Hello,I'm 26, my dream was to own a Patek Philippe since I started my collection, 5 years ago. I have the opportunity right now to buy one, but I have a question.I have tried different brands, 7 Seiko, Luminox, Fortis, Casio, 2 Longines, Oris, Breitling, 2 Omega, 2 Panerai, 5 Rolex, Blancpain... but I always said, finish with a Patek. Well, after try different brands and watches, finally I've decided to sell all the watches that I own right now (2Pam 1Omega) but keep my Rolex 14060m ''no cosc'' THE BEST WATCH EVER! My question, what do you think, I should buy a Nautilus 5711/1a or Aquanaut 5167a on rubber strap?The movement inside I think is the same. Just the outside is different. I just joined the Panerai family and couldn't be happier! It literally took me years to finally decide, but I landed on the 312. My requirements were limiting: 1950-style case, second and date complication, 44mm. I debated the known issues and people recommended other models, but I always came back to the 312.I should receive it Tuesday. And now the strap obsession begins.
