While I'm a little reluctant to post a note on the topic at all, it's kind of nice to see a fresh start. One thing is becoming clear - there was quite a bit more going on in the background at the other place than I had any idea about. No worries.The watch is awesome.Just thinking if anyone here tried mounting the Safari on anything other than the brown hornback it comes with?Coming from a hot and humid country, I sure wish there's something nice I can change it to.I know many will say that the brown hornback + safari combo is the best.But just wondering what it will look like with other options.Thanks in advance.

Panerai 619 - Thoughts?
Just picked up the Panerai 619, my first Panerai which compliments two Rolex's (Sub C and Steel Daytona) in my collection. So far I'm pleased... I like how it's look and lite weight is different then the look and weight of my Rolex watches. Nice alternative to my rotation. I haven't read many reviews or perspectives on the 619. Is it a limited edition Panerai? What do people have to say about the 619? I'd welcome others thoughts on the 619. Thanks for any comments.

Various incoming. Watch box happy again
After a burglary at the end of last year, pleased to have got back to where I was.Also took the opportunity to make a change. I had a Breitling Navi World on Brown Croc strap that just wasn't getting wrist time. Decided to replace with the Exp 2 Polar.Next addition planned to be a manual wind, hesalite crystal speedy.Good to be back in the game.
