- I was skeptical about the watch until I received it. The watch is exactly as described. Its a great value compared to the full retail price at Macy's stores.

Philip Stein 2FFAMOPLB wrist watches news:
Thank you all for your replies to my problemI talked to MARAL in customer service at the Beverly Hills rolex service center, she is a really really nice lady! she assured me that the watchmakers there would take very good care of the watch and that not to worry about a thing because the techs will check it all out and make sure its good to go before they send it back to Rolex store in south coast plaza. the staff at the rolex store was very very nice as well, but it just sucked that i couldnt just get a new one even though it left the store for less than 24hrs. oh well i guess thats just life. Thanks again everyone!!! Tecky
It just arrived from the Philippines...
I recently pre-ordered a Christopher Ward C11 Black watch which is supposed to arrive at the end of the month. I was wondering if anyone has strap suggestions for a PVD watch. (Pics would be great) The watch is 42mm with 22mm lugs. Thanks for the help.
Man, I hate this. I just paid off my credit card; I have two big trips coming up this year; and I see yet another watch that I don't think I can resist. I love this watch for 4 reasons - well, 5.1. I really like the value of a Frederique Constant. This one is $1700.2. I've always wanted a Cuervo y Sobrinos watch that look very similar.3. It would be nice to have a rose gold watch that is new and a bit larger.4. I love cigars.5. I love the super clean and classic - yet contemporary - vibe of this watch.Man, what is not to love about this?
After finding out that the humble $200 watch and the mighty $10,000 watch will both have the same movement if it is a automatic.........The question inevitabley follows......then aside from lots of diamonds on a few of the pricey ones .....What is it about the expensive watches that makes them so expensive ? ......I was under the impression that companies like Hamilton, Bulova, and Illinois when they were making their own movements back in the early to mid 20th century were fully equal to any of the Swiss companies......and while most of their models were not cheap, I still remember seeing the ads in old National Geographic, from the 20s and 30s, of both Elgin and Hamilton.....at the bottom of the ad it says.....Mens watches from $35 to $5,000 and that was a whole lotta money in those days ! .......Now I uderstand that the watch business and the manufactering of them has changed dramatically, but I still want to know ....why are those watches so expensive.....?????
