Please excuse my ignorance, but are all Rolex's assembled by one person or are they on some kind of assembly line with different people doing different parts of the assembly, or is the whole thing automated? I have a vintage Bi-metal 1969 Datejust 1601 I think and was interested to know how long it would have taken to produce from start to finish.
Please give opinions? I know the pictures are not good at best but I'd appreciate the experts opinions here. Thank you.
A basic one here but I just got my Diver yesterday so I don't know :)How thight should the crown (both) be to avoid water damage? I don't want to mess up the rubber on the crown by over doing it but at the same time I want to avoid water damage, does it has Rolex type mechanism ( sub and others ) that water won't get in even unscrued? The truth is I don't plan using it for diving but I want to make sure if I use it in the pool or other lite water activities I am ok.ThanksSimon
