Erwin Sattler Mixes Old & New Perfectly With The Trilogie Watch, Clock, & Winder Combo
Here is a piece of innovative watch technology and integration from a brand you probably haven't heard of. That is OK, because Erwin Sattler does not tend to make wrist watches. As a segue into dabbling in this market, they built a steampunk looking device that is very beautiful and functional combining a watch, watch winder, and clock. All in an expensive looking (and costing) crystal and leather case (the crystal case can be lifted electronically). The various elements of the Trilogie set can be traced to Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.Lets start with the watch itself. Using a modified Swiss automatic Valjoux 7750 movement Erwin Sattler creates an attractive regulator with a classic looking, yet high functional look. While the dial may look white, it is actually solid sterling silver. The watch is impressively large at 46mm, which I love because most of the time classically styled watches such as this are 42mm or smaller. Just spent some quality time with the DJ2 two tones. I was interested in the black dial with fat gold romans. When i saw this piece, I noticed the the black dial is like a flat black-grey color. But love the romans ( no stick at 9 ) .. Next to it was the black face twotone with the arabic numerals. O M G that freakin thing rocks ! It is a liquid gloss black face with the numerals. Around the inner bezel are tiny white second marks.. On the fat gold romans, it has " railroad tracks ". loved it . my only concern is that its so outstanding its going to catch too many eyes, and comments...Not very subtle..

New Diver, not Seiko Monster
Some time ago, I promised to the folks at the Monster Club, that I will buy one Seiko Monster, before the end of the month, but after trying another Seiko Diver that has the 7S36 movement (almost same as Monster's 7S26) I didn't like that it can't be manually wound...So, the monster will be in my wishlist for some more time, maybe six months or moreor until I get a winder for 6 watches at least, I should buy one, but I prefer to spend on more watches Instead, I bought this:Swiss Army Dive Master 500Heavy, tough watch, not too big, not too small, it fits perfectlyand it's orange too :DI tried at my AD, and bought one online for half the price, web picture until it arrives, and I take some wrist shots

I ordered a custom watch from a new company. You go to their website and you can choose from several options on how you want your timepiece. You chosse the case, bezel, dial, hands, and strap. However, what I received was not what I ordered. I'm waiting to hear from the owner to see if we can rectify this mishap. Let me know what you think.
