Breitling COSMONAUTE Anni '60

Ebay find! But cant seem to ID it, and dial replacement question
So heres the watch, I got it for what I think is a good price, 215USD, the movement is running strong and sets well. The crown has been replaced with a non-signed crown, the dial isnt in the best condition, the 5 o-clock bar is slightly lifted at the tip and theirs a very light (cant see it with out looking) scratch. Everything else on the watch is in great condition, only mildly worn.I have no idea how old it is, i just know i feel in LOVE with the band, shape and size and couldn't pass it up. However, I cant find a single thing on the watch, from searching google high and low I cant find the exact watch. I was hoping someone with more knowledge on Longines could help.I was also looking for an opinion on changing the dial, it isn't really my style in the first place but I would hate to ruin a watch's value by changing it. And if i do change the dial what should i replace it with? Are their other dials the watch could have come with that I could track down to have changed to? Or shoul

Thursday Elgin
Decided to wear my heirloom Elgin DeLuxe today. This was my father's: he told me he wore it throughout his college years (1949-53). When he gave it to me last year, the crystal was cracked, but all it needed otherwise was a COA. The Kreisler gf mesh bracelet is original to the watch (at least original to his purchase of the watch), and very comfortable. Here are some pics:I love this watch, and would even if it hadn't been my Dad's. My only Elgin wristwatch though (I had another way back, but sold it long ago).

Nothing like a Panerai
About 15 years ago, I was leafing through a Magazine and saw a model wearing a Panerai Radiomir. I had no idea at the time what it was, but I was absolutely smitten with this watch.Fast forward, I have owned about a half dozen Panerai, and currently own 3.Panerai experienced some wild fanfare several years ago, and much of that has cooled. Many of the older classics are highly sought after, and prices have come back to a more realistic and obtainable level. I tend to not follow the pack, so for me, this recent softening of the market is just fine. I really would like to pick up some classics like a 009, 201A, etc etcAnyways, to this day, as much as I enjoy Rolex and many other brands, nothing gives the feeling of a Panerai.Enjoy your weekend!

Those with 2 watches decision on wearing them
For those with 2 watches how do you rotate/decide when to wear each of them.Looking for answers on those with 2 sport models. Obvious answer if 1 was a sport and 1 was a dress watch would be causal wear the sport and formal wear the dress watch.

Platona Ice Blue Dial with brown subdials
Was at Vegas. Tried on both Platona at vegas bellagio and Caesar¡¯s. There is a 7.5k premium for the diamond dial.I was wondering if anyone knew the price of a replacement ice blue non diamond dial to avoid having to purchase both models! I¡¯d only purchase the diamond dial but would love the Brown subdials version to occasionally swap out.
