Breitling a1336313/a726-1rd wrist watches news:
Hey IWC Experts,I'm really keen to buy my first IWC and have been checking out the secondhand market. I came across the watch below, but have no idea if it is genuine. Is this a real model? Look familiar to anyone? Any help would be gratefully received! Thanks in advance :-)17068625.jpg
I am so used to the Omega forum being the first one under the Rolex forum, I automatically went there and saw only 3 threads Then I read and realized it was the Patek forum
It is a bit ironic that my first post on the Rolex forum is about an Omega. After years and years of admiring the PloProf, I happened upon this gem on ebay Saturday night. A one owner, all original example with a great provenance from an IMCA member. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the watch which makes it a lot easier to sell a few pieces to make room for this beast! It will be right at home with its Rolex counterparts Apologies for the poor pics.
Hi Guys,I tried on a few Patek Philppe watches when I was at the AD today. Wow they make a fine watch. It was not busy at all so the sales person was able to let me handle a 5101P 10 Day Tourbillon it was a bit out of my price range at 380K (CAD).I like the 5119 Calatrave model. It was going for only 18K. How much does this model sell for in the USA? Same price or much cheeper?Maybe someday for now I will stick with Rolex.Take Care,Eric
Hi,I*m thinking on purchasing a PAM380 and would love to hear thoughts from others who own it.I currently own a small collection of what I like to think focusses on the classic and understated; Patek 5711 with blue dial, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, 1970*s yellow gold IWC with date, 1950s Rolex Oysterdate with a black honeycomb dial and a couple of Seikos, SKX009 and the new SPB053 divers (see the big three attached). And while I certainly appreciate quality movements, I*m not a purist when it comes to movements, and appreciate a great, easy to service ETA any day.Love to hear your thoughts? Thanks
