Confr¨¦rie Horlog¨¨re Hublot Presents “Liberty”
When formerly high-flying Swiss movement manufacturer BNB Concept sunk under the weight of its accounts receivable in January, Jean-Claude Biver swung into action, bringing BNB’s managing director Mathias Buttet and about 30 of his watchmakers to Hublot. Biver also acquired BNB’s entire machine base. These decisive steps place Hublot among the few brands that can independently design and produce even the most complex movements in-house. The group’s first new creation was shown at Baselworld. While at BNB, Buttet launched Confr¨¦rie Horlog¨¨re, a brand designed to allow talented young watchmakers to create the timepieces of their dreams. This concept will continue under the banner Confr¨¦rie Horlog¨¨re Hublot, and at Baselworld the group unveiled “Liberty” or Autant en emporte le temps, a reinterpretation of the pocket watch in the form of a gun cartridge, housing a tourbillon. Anybody have a Pleepleus?
I don't really know what to add to the title, so I'll just repeat it. Anybody have a Pleepleus? I was considering one, but would prefer it without "happy hour" on the bezel.

Thing to Consider Before Buying a Pre-Owned AP!!!
I hope this can become a sticky on the AP Forum as I believe a lot of people considering buying a pre-owned AP would benefit from the advice I am giving out.Always keep in mind the following when making a purchase of a pre-owned AP. Especially when buying a Royal Oak or a Royal Oak Offshore. 1. If you own a vintage AP and don't know the service history on the watch do not send it in for service at AP unless it stops running. Don't let an independent watchmaker work on a vintage AP no matter what. The money you save today, you'll have to pay it tomorrow.2. If you buy a pre-owned modern AP RO or ROO try to get one that is not very old (F series and up) ideally with some service history and in overall great shape. Don't by a beater even if it's a good deal! You'll pay the difference afterwards.3. Incoming.... 3 for 3!!!
Well I have been lucky enough to get three new Rolex watches in the last three months.I told my wife before going to our AD that this would be it until the second half of the year... Time to put some money away for retirement and vacation etc...But when I arrived they told us they have a Hulk. It was already spoken for but they knew I wanted to see one in person because I was a little on the fence with this time piece.My wife and a few here on TRF are not crazy about this watch... Well it took me maybe oh a couple of seconds to realize that this watch needs to be in my collection. It is beautiful!!! The dial is stunning and this is what sold me. Back to the topic at hand as I got side tracked... Imagine that... Like a kid in a candy store.I am stoked on getting my new watch. Adding Diamond Bezel to 36mm datejust
Hi Everyone,I have a 36mm datejust (pic attached) and I want to add a diamond bezel on it (after-market) to make it shine a little :)I bought it in April 2017, I was having second thoughts about swapping it for a 41mm but a few friends on this forum stopped me. So I thought of not only keeping it but also adding a diamond bezel for Christmas :)I will get D color and IF clarity. So the best one for almost $2000. Let me know what you guys think.
