- i was looking for a simple gold watch and the picture of this one was very pretty. it is pretty and i love the color and face of the watch but it is too too . unwearable and silly looking. i'm returning it tomorrow..

Just because I liked this picture so much, I'm going to post it over here as well. JBH says its a contest winner for sure, so I'm trying to get him to start a watch and oil contest. This is some olive oil Breitling sent to JBH that he was kind enough to give to me since I like both olive oil and Breitling. . Not sure if I can use it to oil the movements or not though. Enjoy.

Anybody Know Something about WWI Russian Trench Watches ? ? ?
I bought something today that I would NOT normally buy!A RUSSIAN TRENCH WATCH ! ! !For the most part I stick American watches but this Russian starting running when I wound it and the dial does NOT have any hairlines, chips or cracks ! ! !It's been keeping very good time for several hours now.It's rather large, it measures 40mm without the crown and 48mm lug to lug, sterling silver case.The info stamp on the case back reads: 448, AT-17, Sterling, Base M, Czarist c.1914ANYBODY READ RUSSIAN ? ? ?Can anybody translate what is on the inside of the case back for me ? ? ?Who made the movement ? ? ?ANY info would be GREAT ! ! !

5712 - anyone do rubber on ss model?
Hi all-I currently own a 5167 on rubber. Am thinking of selling to fund a ss 5712. I know the 5712g and 5712r models come are delivered on leather but come with an oem rubber alternate. I don't believe the ss model comes with additional rubber strap and is just delivered with bracelet. I know the nautilus bracelet on ss model is great but have any of you guys who have ss model bought the rubber one and put it on your ss model?If so, would be interested to see how it looks.Thanks
