Starting April 2nd we will be accepting pictures for the new masthead photo. Of course these will have to be photo's of watches made in Germany. The contest will end 4/15 @ 23:59 EDT (U.S. eastern daylight time). So everyone break out your digital cameras and take some nice pics of your Glashutte Original, A Lange, Stowa, Muhle Glashutte, ect.
He was the lucky buyer of my NOS Seiko SKX011-K Orange diver.I can honestly say as I post this very positive feedback, that anyone wishing to deal with Chad shouldn't hesitate at all. He's a good new member and one that appreciates nice watches as well as talking about them. His communication is Stellar & his payment was lightning fast, it was a real pleasure dealing with him! Many thanks for the nice feedback on the watchdeals forum at WUS, appreciated...Thanks chford, Jim
A friend of mine bought this a while back from a guy who swore it was a repeater (or something ). My friend swapped him a late '80,s sub for it . He was hell bent on getting his money back until he showed me the watch and I told him to put down the phone! I'm sorry I don't have any before shots . The watch was missing the split second hand , the tube that carries it , the jewel for the third wheel . I did take a few while restoring the piece. Enjoy!! Making the tube for the spit second hand to go thruThis is the heart of the split second system; An overview of the mechanism The completed movementThe cased watchNeedless to say he was happy the guy never called him back !
Bought an Omega PO liquid metal recently, love the watch and my first Omega. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. Although I have managed to pick up numerous scratches on the bracelet, only minor nothing deep. Is their anything I can do myself to help reduce/prevent these without sending off to Omega. Any suggestions¡ Thanks
