Cartier 1821 wrist watches news:
So on the suggestion of other forum members, I am seriously considering a black dial Seiko Monster with a rubber strap. However, I have the following question:I cannot find that watch on Seiko USA's website - is it still in production? All I see on their site is a watch similar to the one that appears at the top of the Japanese discussion forum (with the yellow face). In addition to liking the silver bezel on the Monster, the Monsters available from site sponsors are priced around $200, whereas the one on SeikoUSA is listed as $450.I have no problem buying from a forum sponsor, however I like to try on a watch before I buy it, as I have tried on plenty that I didn't like. If someone could verify that the two watches have the same strap, size, thickness, and weight, I could try one on at a local Brick & Mortar, as I have seen those but not the Monster (although I will admit I haven't looked that hard yet....something to do this weekend). Thanks for the help-Monster Club Hopeful:cool:

Hi Guys,Im new to the world of Blogging/Posting. I am having some trouble figuring out just how to post photos. When I add an a attachment of a photo it comes up as a thumbnail that you need to click on, how can a post it as a large photo?
Hey guys,I've been trying to find a watch like the one in this image for a while, now. This one was featured in the movie 1408 and it looks like it was specifically made for the movie. It's a Kahuna watch, but looking on their website, there's nothing similar enough and I e-mailed them about it never to get a reply. It's more of the look I'm after, than anything.- All-round thick, dark leather cuff strap. Preferably plain, without any studs etc. (Some straps look similar, but taper off into thinner straps)- Black analogue display with silver/metallic casing. Again, as plain and simple as possible. The picture I posted is a pretty good indicator of what I'm looking for. It's not necessarily fancy. In fact the plainer it is, the better. It is possible to buy from a movie prop site, but it's only available as part of the character's full attire, and costs $1,500 or so, which is a bit much for me.I've looked all over eBay and various other sites, but to no avail.I'd be grateful if anyone coul
I've been a member of these forums for a while now and have learned a lot through these forums. I currently have a few watches in my collection and wanted to get my wife a watch. She likes simple watches and after some research likes the Patek Philippe 4906. I know these are discontinued and my local AD obviously can't get them and my wife does not like any of the current models. My question is I can get one off ebay but without any box or papers and the quartz movement worries me a little. Do any of you guys have any suggestions on how to go about getting this watch and also about the battery movement?Thank you again for all your help!
