Invicta 17992 wrist watches news:
Hi All,After viewing a handful of posts regarding bracelet refinishing, LocTite, bracelet removal and such, I decided to update my bracelet & case maintenance page (plus, it was raining outside and could not get in much of a vacation bike ride). I updated sections regarding LocTite, removing SEL bracelets, SeaDweller tool uses, and touching up satin finishes on oyster bracelets. All typos are mine, so let me know if you see any.The page is posted at Minus4Plus6 - Rolex Case & Bracelet MaintenanceI also updated the Ouch page at Minus4Plus6 - Ouch! Tough & Broken Rolex with a new format. Cheers,-Sheldon
What other brand do you believe most closely compares with Hamilton for style, quality, and heritage? For me, I am also actively collecting Accutron and since it is a Bulova brand, the Bulova watches have a long and storied history and have quite a vintage following in the world of watch collectors.
I have been trying to look up this company on the net and I am not finding much on them, I know they became LaJoux-Parret. I am trying to find out if anyone has any information on their quality.
Hi there everyone,Being my first post, and thread on Watch Talk I thought it would be fitting to ask for info on the following topic. Who was the 'first' to achieve various feats in watchmaking (ie first company to use certain case materials, chornographs, GMT, tachymeter, self winding wrist watches etc etc)? When was this feat achieved? There's always claims from different companies so let's try to set the record straight!Cheerio,MBP
Hello All. I was wondering what the time period was between your first Rolex purchase and then your second Rolex. There is no right answer, but I am curious how people respond. Was it right away? Did you wait years? Did you wait for a significant life event? Did you sell your first one first? I am now about a month into my first Rolex. For whatever reason, I really want to purchase another one but I have been fighting it. I feel like I have not fully gotten to know my first one yet and I should enjoy it first. That said, The Color of Money was on TV earlier and I must say that DateJust with the white dial and jubilee bracelet on Newman's wrist kept catching my eye.Again, there is no correct answer and I am not looking for help deciding. I am just curious the path others went down. Thanks.
