Cartier W62025V3 wrist watches news:
We'd like to congratulate Griffin C. from Chicago, Illinois, USA who was the lucky winner of the December 2013 RGM Manufacture Trip watches-dealer giveaway. Griffin will join us later this year in Pennsylvania were we will experience a hands-on couple of days with the talented Roland Murphy, considered the producer of the finest American watches at this time. Be sure to enter for a Gc-3 Automatic watch this month on watches-dealer here. Thanks to all who entered and continue to enter monthly watches-dealer giveaways.[Update: July 8, 2014 - While we value the quality of their product, in light of recent events, watches-dealer will no longer cover RGM products and cannot endorse RGM as a company. - Ed. ] What's This?
So, I have 3 nice watches that I rotate periodically. My wrist does not smell after wearing the Rolex or the Tag. They are looser, but they dont dangle by the bottom of my wrist - rather they are usually above the wrist bone. Now, I noticed serendipitously, that my wrist would smell like sweat after wearing the PO. I noticed that I have the PO sized a bit tighter - because it is heavier than the Sub and I like it to stay above the wrist bone...And the back of the PO's case has a margin around it - probably making a vacuum-like seal to the wrist.... probably making sweat accumulate after a few hours of wear. So, as gross as it may sound - is it just me or do you guys also notice a smell after wearing the PO?If not, then maybe I just have to loosen up the PO and it wont stick to one spot and create that weird smell.Sorry if it's gross, but this has been bugging me for months.
I know that personal preference obviously should play the biggest part in choosing between rose and yellow gold, but in this thread, I'm asking about the other consequences of this choice beyond how happy one might be with the aesthetics. That is, are there practical considerations regarding discolouration or maintenance? What about desirability and resale value? Are the other factors that result from a choice of one over the other?
I've seen a lot of posts around here thinking about what current owners will do. So I'd thought it would be interesting to hear what current owners of the black dial WG Pepsi will do with the BLRO and their thoughts the new Pepsi models. Is anybody thinking of adding one of the new Pepsi models? Any regrets?I'm keeping my BLRO.Here are my thoughts:SS Pepsi- love it, but jubilee bracelet with clasp looks odd to me.WG Pepsi with blue dial- nope, wanted the classic with the black dialTudor Pepsi- 41mm is too big, don't like the font on the bezelI also think that the bezel colors, that were largely panned on this forum will now be loved given that a) it's $20K cheaper and b) the supply will be likely controlled and Rolex has another elusive, hard to find, Daytona-like hit on their hands. I think the WG black dial model value with tank.Movement-wise- don't really care about that- it's not like the old movement was garbage and needed an improvement. In terms of an investment, do I regret b
