Omega 213.30.42.40.01.001 wrist watches news:
I accidentally swiped my arm near a concrete column and the Ceramic Bezel of my GMT IIc got a small scratch. Here is a photo. The scratch is in the lower part of the inverted triangle, to the right (at 12:01). Guess the bezel is not "unscratchable"Best,
I've recently picked up a Z serial LV Sub w/both green & black bezel inserts. It was a steal (bad economy=buyer's market) but the only reason I bought it is because it came w/the standard black insert and I like the maxi-pad upgrade. Do you think Rolex will make a updated super-case/ceramic bezel LV or will it be phased out?

I apologize (again) for the bad pictures. I really, really need to get a decent camera. My 70+ year old mother-in-law has had this pocket watch in a cedar chest for probably 50 years and it was her grandfather's. It's cased in a brass Star Watch Company case (serial# 155353) and is marked as such the face. This leads me to wonder if they continued producing watches under the Trenton Watch Co. brand for a time after Ingersoll acquired them. This watch would need some work to get running again and my guess is, aside from sentimental value, it probably wouldn't be worth spending th
I have always considered myself to be a wearer rather than a collector and the question came up again when a forum member noticed that my ref. 1450 Speedy Pro bracelet is up for sale.Yes, the 1450 is considered to be the grail bracelet but since I acquired another 1498 bracelet (my personal favorite), the 1450 has been sitting in a drawer. I would rather have someone enjoying the 1450.Fr. John?
