- Beautiful, well done classic....true curb link bracelet watch. If you did a matching bracelet in sterling silver it would be expensive but you'd sell a million. A Diane Gilman limited edition !!!

Baume & Mercier 10062 wrist watches news:
What is different about this Hamilton Seaview Automatic Diver watch? I thought about this question for a little while before writing anything down. I know I have seen the nautical almost art deco themed font used for the numbering before. The font is sort of an amalgamation of everything ocean-worthy and futuristic from 1920 -1970. Gently shaded, the large applied number totally make the watch. Without them it would be just another passable for forgettable Hamilton watch. The watch is pretty big too at 46mm wide, and the relatively small numbers on the rotating diver's bezel don't help the large wrist footprint. But that is OK, you want a nice looking watch like this to standout. While it is has been hit and miss with me in regard to new Hamilton watches as of late, the volume sales leader for Swatch Group continues to push out a few good designs each year.? I'd like to think that this is one of them. The case is PVD steel, but not all of it black. The bezel and face are however dark c
My AD called me on Friday and asked me if I was interested in one of those "GMT II's with the funny font?" She said their Rolex Rep delivered it in their latest shipment, but tried to buy it himself and told her that they're extremely rare. She wouldn't let him, and imediately called me. :DHere's the pics of the new watch:Yep, it does not have the traditional "II" in GMT II:I wonder if that means that it has a caliber 3186 and not a 3185 inside? YES!!!I love the Parachrom Blu hairspring:Right now I'm wrestling with whether to keep it or posibly liquidate a couple of other watches to keep it (that would put my Sea-Dweller on the chopping block. ). I've had my Dweller for a lot of years, and love it, but I have three dive watch Rolex watches and not GMT right now...so I'm leaning toward keeping it.
I have a Longines automatic, that I'm having a bit of trouble identifying. I think it might be a 1964 Model 2205, however, when I've seen a picture and description of the 2205 everything matches except the height of the 6 o'clock bar which is full height on the watch I have and only half height on the picture I've found that says it is a 2205. The face looks like an Admiral 1200, except the 1200 was a gold case and this watch is stamped on the case 10K GOLD FILLED S&W, the S&W are in a box. I has bar markers all around 3 at 12, 2 at 3,6 and 9, singles for the rest. It is a single step sweep second hand above the 6 o'clock marker. Like many watches it has a Speidel bracelet which probably replaced a leather or cloth strap. (or maybe that was the $100.00 optional strap!) In case your wondering it's working better every day and it seems it's accuracy is getting better after sitting unused for perhaps 30 to 40 years!
I heard from an AD (not mine), one in my local mall, that AP is closing their all ADs? This sounded like BS to me. I think they are just butthurt AP pulled their watches out of their store. Can anyone confirm? They say AP took out 100 dealers.
