- I bought this watch for my grandfather for Christmas. I must say that for the money, this watch looks great! The band is very nice and the face is large enough for an older person to read. Overall, great watch for the money!!

Hublot 341.PE.2010.PE.1104 wrist watches news:
Linde Werdelin presents a new version of the ruggedly attractive Oktopus 1111m dive watch. I wrote about the original Linde Werdelin Oktopus watch here. The new version has a naked grade 5 titanium 46mm wide case with a new rotating diver's bezel that is inlaid with black lacquer. The minute markers are exposed making them very legible, while the black lacquer regions will have a deep glossy tone to them. The watch is matched to a soft black rubber strap with a very good locking fold over clasp. The Oktopus's dial is also black, but done differently being black galvanic with silver print. The hour indicators are rhodium plated and the lume all over the watch is in the now popular "diver's blue" as I call it. This is done with blue colored C3 SuperLumiNova. I highly appreciate the diver's style look that Linde Werdelin gave the Oktopus watch, and feel that this newest version maybe even more mainstream looking than the original.Aside from the black lacquer bezel, the Oktopus retains the
Breitling Chronometrie Factory Tour 19-9-12First of all, I would just like to say that if you get offered the opportunity to visit and tour Breitling¡¯s impressive manufactory facility, ¡°Chronometrie¡± then take it. It will be of interest to anyone into watchmaking and the manufacturing of quality high-end products. It re-affirms your faith in the Breitling brand and makes you realise just why high-end in-house manufactures watches are expensive. After our two our flight from Birmingham, UK, we landed at La Chaux de Fonds, right next to a Breitling plane already on the runway. Maybe, Theodore Schneider was in town that day. This was a nice touch. The clock on the airport tower was by Breitling. We were first taken by our very knowledgeable, approachable and passionate guide, Fabrice, to one of only two original Watchmaker¡¯s houses from 400 years ago still standing in this region. There we were entertained by a local horn blower and were all encouraged to have a go. It wasn¡¯t any where near
These look really cool. Anybody have or had one? What model? Pics? How is their reliability? Are they a quality watch? Any info would be appreciated.

During Susan and I recent visit to Switzerland, we had the priviledge among other thing to be invited to Longines Private Museum. They have records hand written going back to 1901. They pulled out the actual entries for BOTH my 1915 and 1926 Longines. I actually touched(and photographed) the hand written records with the name of the manager that supervised these watches! Then Longines did something outstanding. They took the vintage Longines watch (that I had bought her) off Susans wrist took it away, then brought back all the records. The watch was made one month prior to Susans birth. How great is that??This exhibition cover 30 million Longines watches or 130 yrs of history of Longines. The exhibition/museum is very clever it covers from 1867 - 1899. But EACH display is set EXACTLY 1m watches apart. That may be 1 yr or in the depression 4 yrs.Additionally it has some 'watches' you would never believe/guess. LKike in 1954 the FIRST quartz timekeeper. 1954!!!!I took many pictures,
